My wife loves it. Works great for making Margaritas. It does need a lot of ice, but that’s okay, because the drink results are great. Make sure you use Top Shelf Tequila and Top Shelf Margarita Mix.

I originally ordered this blender in 2020 and within 3 uses it began to leak. I was told I needed to go through Nostalgia to replace. They did and after two uses with the new machine, it began leaking again and this time blow the motor. This is not an everyday use product we used it for family gatherings on holidays only. The product should not have failed twice with such little use.

I ordered this for my wife and I to make margaritas, Pina coladas, or whatever drink we want. We are mainly using this out by our pool, the machine is stored under a pavilion so it is not directly in the sunlight. It is double wall vacuum insulated so it keeps the drinks at somewhat of a frozen consistency for a couple of hours but there is no refrigerant or way for this machine to keep them truly frozen. If we do not have enough people around to drink the gallon within an hour or two, for best results we pour the remainder in a large vacuum insulated steel container and refrigerate or place in an ice chest to prevent melting. It does make a very smooth consistency frozen slushy drink and the pour spout works well. Make sure you use crushed ice and not large cubes for best results and turn it on when using the spout.

I purchased this item as a thoughtful gift for my mom, primarily because of its promising features. First and foremost, its size is commendable, allowing for a generous amount of drinks to be stored and kept frozen for extended periods. The insulation properties are quite effective, ensuring that beverages remain chilled as desired. However, our experience with the product hasn't been entirely flawless. One recurring issue we've encountered is the nozzle getting clogged, which can be a bit inconvenient and frustrating at times. While this doesn't entirely diminish its functionality, it does require periodic maintenance and attention to ensure smooth operation. Despite this minor setback, we generally have a positive impression of the product. Its primary function of keeping drinks cold is fulfilled admirably, making it a convenient addition to our household. If the manufacturer addresses the nozzle clogging issue in future iterations or if there are available solutions, this product would undoubtedly earn an even higher recommendation. Nonetheless, for its current price point and performance, it remains a worthy purchase, albeit with a small caveat.

I returned this. Before a big party I did a test with just water and ice following all directions. It does make a slush, however, it will not dispense out of the spout. Only the liquid comes out. So what's the point of making slushy margaritas if it won't come out the spout?? Great idea but doesn't work like it should. Back to the blender for me.

This thing is amazing. You have to let it run for the full 8-10 minutes like they say. Also adding a lil sugar helps the ice from clumping up. And those that says it burned up after 1st use prob never saw that the lid wasn't fully closed on it, and didn't see that the machine won't run if lid isn't on as a safety measure. I do wish it had came with a slushie and frozen drink recipe book though.

We love that it's easy to use and clean, but man is it loud, and unfortunately, you have to run it a LONG time if you want your drinks to be slushy.

For an inexpensive appliance, it was a great purchase! Used for a party and after the initial use to slush everything, just flip it on for a few second before each pour to mix it back up. Plus I found adding a little more ice after an hour helped keep it extra slushie. I found the key was to start by filling ice to the max line, then add drink ingredients (best to chill ingedients first so they don't instantly melt the ice). This creates the perfect icee/fine slush consistency to drink through a straw.

Acabo de comprar la máquina para Margaritas y wow! Me sorprendió la forma en que funciona! Al principio dudaba en comprarlo ya que vi varias reseñas que decían que no funcionaba, que no molía el hielo, pero es mentira, si funciona! Claro que no es igual que una licuadora que muele el hielo más rápido, pero por la cantidad de hielo lo muele bien, tarda aproximadamente entre 5-8 mins en triturar el hielo, también es muy importante leer las instrucciones de uso ya que el no usarlo correctamente puede hacer que no funcione, lo recomiendo altamente!

This is the second one I've had. The first one finally gave out after many years of use. I didn't even consider a different type of machine because this one always worked so well we were very popular with our camping friends. This one requires AC power but we always used it with an inverter any way. Looking forward to more years of great ice drinks !!!!!!

Was extremely excited for this product. Stopped working during the first use.

First, this slush maker is very pretty and "aestheticy". This makes very light slush. It took a while to figure out the water/ice ratio to get the right consistence to get it out of the spout dispenser. I suggest 42 ice cubes to 2 cups of water (three 14 ice cubes molds).
