Does this come with a plastic case?

I ordered 2 and they both had a plastic case

Is this made in China?

I believe it is. Under the 'add to cart' option, you can click on the 'sold by' and look at the sellers address. I received the item fairly quickly so not sure if they were already in the states or just shipped super fast. I bought it for my brother and he really liked it. I hope this helps.
