Works completely as expected
The scanner worked really well at first it didnโt read anything, but that wasnโt the scanner. It was my network on my bus. Once I resolved why it wasnโt reading i.e. an internal add-on device inside the bus the scanner read great and was able to clear codes and narrow down the issues with my bus. Iโm still working on it, but I believe the scanner tool is helping greatly reduce work to narrow down the problem.

No go for 2020 Freightliner cascadia
I have a 2020 Freightliner cascadia with a dd13. This product does NOT clear the codes for the after treatment. And you can not force a regen until the codes are clear..... There for.... You are still S O L

Worked for what I needed it for
Purchased to scan the codes on a 94 Cummins N14. And was successful able to read codes, diagnose the issue, and clear codes. The tool was very straightforward and easy to use. The screen was bright and very easy to read. Attempted to hook it up to a 99 pick up truck and was not able to connect using the generic OBD-II function. It shows it has an OBD function that might work on vehicles before OBD-II. Overall. It did the job I purchased it for. I do not advise purchasing as a car scanner. Which is misleading from the description

Ancel HD601 worked where others wouldn't!
I don't have a HD truck but my 2025 Ford Maverick has the WWH-OBD system and I tried my OBD2 scanners and they could not recognize my Maverick. The Ancel HD601 quickly connected and very easy to navigate through the menu. Totally happy with my purchase, and I imagine newer vehicles are going to use the WWH-OBD system. Hope this helps you!

Not that great
I had problems with this reader. I was using it on an International 4300. I needed to scan live data for oil pressure while cranking. But the scanner shuts down when the engine cranks so itโs not possible to watch live data. Once I finally was able to scan the truck sometimes it showed engine related codes and sometimes it didnโt.

Fantastic value
This scanner worked great on the purchase of a 2013 freightliner Cascadia truck. I was able to scan the truck prior to purchase to know that I was getting a vehicle without hidden problems.

Update the update
Item seems to operate as anticipated. The only complaint is that the update for the product requires Windows 10. I had to search out a computer with that operating system because it got stuck on my Windows 11 computer.
