I have some grown out highlights and gray hair that this covered really well! I also felt that when my hair started growing out, it had faded enough that the demarcation line didn’t show but it was still covering my old highlights well. I was surprised by how dark it was. I also didn’t notice I’d need to get my own developer but I was able to get it at an ulta store when I needed it.

I love the Wella Demi line. The colors are true . And as long as you use the Color Charm Demi-Permanent Activating lotion with the Demi -Permanent Cream Color, you will be happy with the results .You will get gorgeous colors that last and last,but you will not be able to lighten your hair at all and most colors will come out a bit dark to begin with but will lighten over time and shampoos. Pick a color a bit lighter or closest to your natural color.You must use the Demi Activation lotion with Demi-Permanent color. As it only contains 6% peroxide it will not lift the color but will not burn or cause damage to your hair either. The 2 product mix half and half of each and the mixed application need only stay on for 15 minutes but I let it stay on a few minutes longer. Very light almost imperceptable smell to the product . Remember the finished color will be a bit dark but will fade over time.Expect the color to last 1 to 2 months.

I got 8n and 6n, 8n did not do anything to my hair and the grey hair I was trying to cover, 6n made my hair DARK like close to the darkest brown. Maybe I try 7N next time idk, I would just like a nice light ash brown that covers grays. Oh well :)

6N dark neutral blonde- it does come out very dark but it worked for what I wanted. My highlights came out too golden for my natural dark hair so I got this demi permanent hair color and the 10% developer. I hadnt seen any other reviews on dark hair but I came out great. I have medium/long hair and one tube was juust enough. For better coverage I would buy two next time

I had trouble deciding what color to pick. I couldn't decide between 6N and 5N, because 5N seemed so much lighter. The 6N came out darker than expected, but it still looks good. I will probably order 5N next time. I used 2 tubes, plus 10 vol developer. There was plenty of product to cover all of my hair. I let it set for 20 minutes. The coverage is nice, and I'm glad it is demi permanent because it isnt full commitment, as it will fade over time.

Love this for dying my eyebrows! Usually leave it on 15-20 mins. Don’t forget to get the activator for it though!

Okay I use 6N for my DARK BROWN HAIR, This color is not blonde. This is a dark brown, I have read many reviews stating the colors are much darker then identified. Anyways, now that you know about how the colors work. THIS STUFF WORKS. It is very easy to apply, dyes my greys and freshens up my dark hair. Smell is very minimal. The color lasts a long time and is very affordable. PHOTO IS 3 WEEKS AFTER HAIR TREATMENT! Will definitely buy over and over again!

Darker than I expected but I still like it. Maybe after a few washes it'll lighten up. I used 5n and 6n mixed

So thankful I discovered this product!! It does not damage my hair and is a very natural dark brown colour that matches my roots perfectly. So thankful to have something that I can easily do at home and touch up every couple weeks - very convenient and inexpensive with no weird helmet head look (from permanent dye) or obvious root line. I leave it on for 25 mins to cover greys more completely.

Strong grey coverage/blending with a true color, lush and glossy result. My hair felt like real hair at the end! It wasn’t coated or overly soft and flat. I’m truly impressed as I switch to grey blending and grow my long hair out. I used 6N mixed with 8N 50/50 and 8N only where I’m 100% grey around my face. I thought I’d give the demi-permanent a try after seeing a few instagram reels and I am shocked with the results! I plan to keep up with my roots but only pull it through the ends every few touch ups and use a gloss in between. I’m looking forward to taking advantage of my natural “highlights” and not dreading about the harsh line of regrowth. I can honestly say this is the most natural result I’ve ever had at home and I’m very experienced! I’ve been coloring my own hair at home for decades and switched to Wella’s products that I have access to for the last few years after only using drug store products before. I mainly used Koleston for my roots and Color Touch for my lengths which would build up at the root or wash out of the lengths too quickly on my hair (it might be different for your hair type!) It was a ton of work and expensive to keep up and required frequent highlights to keep it looking natural. I had to sacrifice length to keep it healthy looking. Fingers crossed that this demi paired with interim glosses will keep my hair healthier and maintain the natural result.

Easy to use and more than enough product for an application to medium-long, fine hair. I was attempting to cover up some orange toned "hot roots" This colour was darker than I anticipated and some of the warmth came through, but it gave me a rich, auburn outcome (I probably should've tried a 7A for what I was originally going for) My hair texture looks and feels great.

Because I was reading reviews before deciding which I wanted to order I went with the 6N demi permanent: dark neutral blonde. And I am so happy I did because it dyed my hair that had at least 50% white dark brown!!! Beautiful but really dark. So please watch out. It is not at all blonde :)

I love this line of gentle Demi colour. I’ve included a verbal review in my video but key points: colour range allows you to custom blend your colour - I needed to counteract a green burning my tips only and it worked like a charm. I live being able to include clear so colour doesn’t deposit so heavily. Affordable pricing and great range. Use with Vol 10 or you risk over depositing colour.
