It does not feel like satin. It has a lofty soft feel.

Q: what is the thread count on this comforter and pillowcase set? I'm unable to find it anywhere.

Of course it’s wrinkled, it comes vacuum packed! Just shake it out and put it in the dryer for 15-20 minutes. Mine was perfect.
