I already had a different design of LIANGSTAR Laptop Cooling Pad but it took up a bit more room than I liked and was the wrong shape at the front for consistently comfortable use (I use a wrist rest and the front lip of the old cooling pad stuck out too much, keeping my hands stretched out which quickly caused fatigue), but the product worked really well.... So, I looked for a more "streamlined" version and was very pleased to discover this new sleeker, pared back, design of LIANGSTAR Laptop Cooling Pad. It fits perfectly under my ASUS Vivobook (15.6in) and is whisper quiet. When I'm working on multiple projects and my laptop is working really hard this cooling pad steps in and helps keep things cool. It is also just the right height to raise my laptop to a much more comfortable height and the sleek design means there's nothing at the front leading edge to make my laptop sit back. The small flap that flips up to hold the laptop in place has a nice little finger cut out in it which acts (I have now noticed) as a park/rest for my thumb when I'm not typing (I'm sure that's unintended in the design, and may be a particular quirk of how I sit/type but it really makes a big difference for me - big plus!!!) Overall, the product is very well made, works straight out of the box, has useful dials/switch for on/off controls and a nicely finished, braided usb connection lead. This item really is a winner for me! I would definitely recommend!!!

I have been meaning to buy a laptop cooler for my gaming laptop for ages. I don't often play games, it's mostly video editing, but when I do I like to have a good session on it and I noticed that my laptop always gets red hot.I've thrown a few games at it tonight while testing this and all in all, I'm impressed. Don't get me wrong, if you have the money to pay for a high end one, grab it. But, this will do the job. While still getting hot, it's nowhere near as hot as it is without it and after a gaming session it cools down much faster.As for the noise I read in other reviews, my laptop makes more noise than this does, so don't let that bother you! The lights are great, but if you want just a little extra fan speed, switch the lights offas it runs off USB power.It's very sturdy and doesn't come across as being built cheaply. The only thing I will say is, there were no instructions, (not that you really need any) and the phone holder is a little... well... pointless and not sturdy, no way of charging your phone while it's in its stand, iPhone 12 Pro Max just doesn't really stand well in it, so that part just comes across as a cheap after thought gimmick.All in all, I'm really impressed with it and I would recommend it to anyone.

Pretty good, still works a year on. had a few rattly fan moments but that happens.Overall quite durable but not invincible, if you take care of it right it will take care of you.

***NOTE***I read that many People who received this item didn't get the included phone holder as advertised, BUT you're all wrong!It does come included, it's just secretly clipped underneath the unit, just unclip it and now you have the mobile holder too!Overal:Great design, concept, and works exactly how it should, considering the design has to be minimal and simplistic to allow for maximum airflow it does what it says.The lightning LEDS are impressive and quick and easy to function.The fans work for the reason I wanted and tested them using inbuilt software that has dramatically reduced my laptop from overheating! All readings show blue arrows pointing down when functional but without the cooling pad the heat soon rises.The function to control the fan speeds is simple as turning a wheel to increase or decrease the speeds, not only that you control 3 fans at a time, being 6 fans, you can either have 3fans running or all 6, each 3 controlled by your speed input you require.I recommend turning all 6 to half when doing less intensive stuff, and maximum when you need the cool down more.Thank you, for the price you get more than you pay for imo.

WORST PRODUCT I HAVE EVER BOUGH FANS ARE SO TINY WHEN I GOT IT I THOUGH OH THEY LOOK A LOT TINY THEN THE PICTURE AND WHEN I TURNED IT ON THEIR WAS BARLEY ANY COLD AIR COMING OUT MADE NO DIFFRENCE AND IT WAS SUPER LOUD I DO NOT RECCEMEND ANYONE TO BUY THIS NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY AT ALL I RETURNED IT AND GOT BETTER

The cooling pad is just about the right size for my laptop. The phone stand is completely useless, and the plastic piece that's supposed to stop your laptop from sliding forward is the cheapest plastic ever manufactured. It looks like it's going to snap at any moment.Apart from that, it works as intended. I don't really use the fans, but they're not loud at the minimum speed. It looks cool, but I prefer it with the lights off.

For the price that I paid ($10 USD), which is probably one of the cheapest option on Amazon, the build quality is actually pretty solid.The material feels hefty in hand, and the kick stand has an anti-slip rubber coating, which was rather unexpected.The cooling capacity is questionable, however. Perhaps there’s a 3 degree Celsius difference, but it was barely noticeable.Perhaps this is because I put my laptop elevated anyways, so the cooling was already good.Still, a good stand with some cooling capability. I recommend this product.

These things are fantastic for the price. No, they're not sturdy. They're also under $20. My first one has lasted over a year.They work so well I bought a second one for my power adapter. I usually play in bed and it gets so hot it makes me miserable. (I have issues with overheating.)I set it up on a table next to me, and I DARE it to get hot now lmao 😆. I plug that one into a power strip that goes into the wall. They do need an external power source (your laptop or plug into an adapter etc). They will do nothing otherwise.There are separate dials to turn on the fans and the LED lights on this model. They're located on the top, next to the USB ports. The photo only shows one dial, the other is covered by the cord. There's a solid "click" to turn on or off.I got the "metal" one the second time. I doubt it's really metal. At best, it's metallicized paint. Doesn't matter, it's working great. It didn't cost that much.It's quiet, I can barely hear it. Its actually cold to the touch when on. The power adapter used to get so hot I could barely touch it (normal but annoying), now it's barely warm. So much much comfortable to be next to.

I recently upgraded a laptop for work, and running FDRS can be demanding. The RAM and new battery helped, but while monitoring temps I noticed that during use the temperatures got intermittently higher than I would like (180-200 degrees F). I ordered this laptop stand with built in fans, and it works perfectly for what I need and want. Build quality is decent- it feels light and flimsy, but supports the laptop well. The rubber pad on the bottom supports the laptop and makes sure it doesn’t slide around. The fans have 3 settings, and mine lives on high, which is the default first speed. Temperatures are consistently 30 degrees cooler, so yay! The real test will be monitoring temps in the west Texas summer, where temperatures in the shop routinely go above 105F. The highest speed is still super quiet- you may be able to hear it in a quiet room at home, but in an automotive shop it’s virtually silent. It has usb ports on it, I haven’t used them so I can’t comment on them. It has RGB lights, I don’t use them either but if that’s your thing, then you’ll like this one.
