it was fantastic. I used a PS2 controller on a 360
Worked for about 5 months before it fizzled. While it worked, it was fantastic. I used a PS2 controller on a 360. Along with a CronusMax, I was able to use a PS2 controller on a PS4. To make things even spicier, I had a SNES to PS2 adapter. This allowed me to use an SNES controller on a 360 or PS4. However, now that my PS2 to 360 adapter has failed, I'm screwed out of the options I stated. I took it apart, poking and prodding makes it pop on for a split second, and that's about it. I'm going to attempt to fix it. This really is the best adapter I've found so far, so I may just purchase another and hope it lasts longer than 5 months.

Item did take alittle longer than what was promised for shipping, but otherwise excellent converter. I don't feel much lag and the quality of the product is nice. Most converters don't last that long and malfunction pretty quickly, but this one is still in good shape.

If you are looking for a converter these days I would recommend getting a Brook Converter instead
Unfortunately mine did not work on my Xbox 360 but it did seem to work on my PC using the Xbox 360 controller drivers. I think a console update has caused these to no longer work and these models can't be receive firmware updates. If you are looking for a converter these days I would recommend getting a Brook Converter instead.

it's because i fell in love with what i bought
I don't normally write a review on Amazon, but when i do, it's because i fell in love with what i bought. After a years search to find the perfect PS to Xbox 360 adapter that is Compatible with my old as Dirt MC2 PS 1 and 2 Steering wheel, i stumbled across this gem. This adapter does everything i needed it too and even more. It works perfect with no lag and it even works with a mic attached. Its perfect if your looking to use your old PS wheels without having to dish out a few hundred on a mediocre Xbox 360 wheel. The programming options on the MC2 is a feature every wheel should have, but doesn't for some odd reason (its 2015, get with the "program" people!). So, if anyone is interested in this sweet little device for the reason I'm writing this review, BUY IT NOW. I have yet to use it with a fighting stick, but i already see reviews raving that feature works just as well. Best $20 Peripheral Ive bought in a long time. That "other" dongle on amazon doesn't hold a candle to this device. Don't let the lackluster package it comes in fool you, its a keeper for sure.

Everything hooked up great but for whatever reason half of the buttons on the steering wheel hooked up wouldn't respond. Nothing wrong with steering wheel it works great but would not work with this connnector so purchasing this was a waste of money. Maybe it will work better for others.

Super impressed and satisfied!
As of 2014 the Xbox 360 has been on the market for 9 years, and yet the D-pad still sucks and no company has released an adequate controller for retro and 2D games, which there are PLENTY of for the system. After searching the whole webbernetz I found this product and it impressed the junk out of me! Here's how ya make it go: Plug in to usb on 360, plug in PS2 controller, play vidyagames. THE ANALOG BUTTON = XBOX HOME BUTTON!!!!!!!!! Mind blown. Had no idea it did that. There is another product circulating the world wide web that requires you to first plug in a wired xbox 360 controller, start the converter, unplug controller and THEN plug in the PS2 controller. Get that mess out of my house! I don't want that! This device is so cool that I can connect it to an Android device and the android inside the device thinks I'm connecting an xbox 360 controller, which is natively supported by the android living inside eating his kitkat and jellybeans!!! Mind blown again. I'm finished with my review. Not sure how to end these.

Great adapter with full functionality
The adapter engages full analogue mode on the dualshock 2 (including analogue pressure sensitivity on the buttons). This is amazing, because it lets you use L2 and R2 on the dualshock as analogue triggers, just like on the xbox360 controllers! Also, it detects when you've pressed the analogue button and sends a guide button press, so you don't have to use the guide button on the adapter. Unfortunately, it can't detect the analogue button being held down, so you will only ever get a single press out of it, not a long press. That's understandable, as the analogue switch behaves like a toggle rather than a button. The dualshock only reports to the adapter that the switch has been toggled, not whether the physical button is currently up or down.Rumble seems to work as well.In short, this adapter turns your Dualshock 2 into a fully functional xbox360 controller with analogue triggers. It's /exactly/ what I wanted. Disclaimer: I only use it to play games on windows, as I don't own an xbox360. It should work identically on the xbox360, but I can't speak to that.
