Works for my application
I don’t use these as closet rod flanges. I mounted this to the front of my boat, then made a post that would fit inside it, attached that to an LED spotlight for when I have to trailer my boat at the ramp after dark. Many possibilities for this flange. Works well for what I needed.

Flanges for pool ladder
When I ordered the pool ladder with stainless steel piping it said most people order these flanges with this item, but these flanges were the wrong size too small. I thought if Amazon suggested them they would fit, I will return them. Not happy

Didn't go with product I bought.
I purchased these, because I purchased a pool ladder that said, goes with this and this. It showed these and a pad for the bottom of the pool. They all came and when we finally went to mount the ladder (too late to return), the ladder had come with plastic ones just like the above except the correct size for the ladder. These were way too small for the ladder so they should not have misadvertised.
