Delicious PHO Beef Broth!
I make a ton of my version of a Vietnamese noodle dish with this PHO Beef Broth for my son. He's very limited in what his stomach can tolerate. He always gobble a weeks worth of this Vietnamese noodle dish in two days. It always turns out delicious when using this broth and he never shares it with the rest of the family. However, being the cook you know I always manage to eat one very small bowl when he is sleeping! There's definitely value in this purchase!

To me, just okay
The taste of a ginger broth is subjective. Therefore, although I didn't love this one, I gave it 4 stars. I love a good ginger broth and have used multiple brands in soups I have made. To me, this broth had an odd aftertaste and was just okay. Others might love it, but I wouldn't purchase it again.

Close to the flavor I enjoy from my favorite restaurants. Will buy again.

As a pho broth.... VERY disappointing. Tastes like canned consume, nothing more
Product arrived quickly, and we were thrilled at the sight of it. No need to simmer oxtails or do other long prep -- or so we thought and hoped. Not so! Its an okay, almost tasteless substance, needs, minimally, a LOT of work to turn it into anything remotely tasting like restaurant-quality Pho. Plan on simmering meat and bones, adding in all favorite spices (wrapped in gauze, most likely, right?) and then add in when you've finally MADE a decent Pho base, the cooked noodles, shaved beef (or whatever you like to use in your Pho), and veggies, such as bean sprouts, bamboo shoots, etc. In our opinion this product is just one level above plain H20 as a starter for a fine bowl of Pho. We won't be buying this again....

Authentic & Tasty
Because the town I live in is small, there is nowhere to get Pho. The closest place is over 60 miles away, so, I started making my own at home. This Pho broth is so good though I wish it had stronger anise flavor. Better to have a pre-prepped food that is less salty as this one is, I add salt to it. I put some of the broth on my dogs' dry kibble, he backed away from it, wouldn't touch it. That's okay, more for me plus he won't beg for it when I'm eating. It's very handy that the Pho broth is sold as six separate cartons. I can satisfy my Pho cravings easily.
