Brought new life to an old friend. I was about ready to toss my 2 D cell Mag-Light as I got a nice new  Wuben T102pro CREE XHP70 LED 3,500 Lumens USB Type-C Rechargeable High Powerful LED Flashlight Super Bright Torch for Search and Camp Lighting with 26650 Battery and SKYBEN USB Light  Absolutely NO complaints. Fair price for the quality package and quality light and accessories. Fast shipping. I have owned my Mag for some 20-30 years I think. I had considered switching it to Li-Po's, but then I came across this bulb. Not anywhere near my new light, but SIGNIFICANTLY brighter than any Xenon bulb. Not only that a pair of Alkaline or even better non-rechargeable lithium D-cells will last for years because the LED draws such a small amount of wattage/amperage. The thing is indestructible for the most part, never had any problems with it. All I need is a new lens as mine is al scratched as it is plastic and from many years of use. I am going to get a nice tough tempered glass lens to help maximize the newfound brightness. I couldn't be happier with this replacement bulb. No extra parts needed, just put it in and it works.

I just received this Maglite replacement LED, and it is terrific! I replaced the incandescent bulb in a red 2-cell Maglite that I liked a lot. I have messed around with some others that were OK, but not a lot brighter than the incandescent bulb. This LED is fantastic! I don't know how long it will last, or if battery life will be good, but I almost don't care. This 2-cell Maglite is now very bright, and useful at long distances. Don't hesitate to buy this item.

Just had this bulb delivered. Like another person that wrote a review, I was a Correctional Officer, but back then the flashlight to have was Kel-Lite. I have both a 4-cell D-size flashlight, as well as a 2-cell C-size. The bulb I received today is for the 2-cell. The Kel-Lites don't accept this bulb particularly well, and you have to leave off the screw-on bulb holder when reassembling. A bit awkward, but it works once you get it together. The difference between this bulb and the regular bulb is like a match compared to a lighthouse beacon. I also installed one of these CREE LED bulbs in a 6-volt lantern (cheap plastic type). That took a little more thinking to get it to work, but it puts out a solid beam of light that goes for many hundreds of yards. With high-capacity rechargeable batteries, and using my 6-cell several times every evening, the batteries last around 6-9 months before they need to be recharged. Far longer than standard batteries with the standard bulb. All of you C/O's out there, this is the upgrade you need.

This bulb was purchased to upgrade the standard bulb in a two battery MAGLITE. It was shipped the day of the order and arrived the following day. It is an exact replacement for the original and fit into the flashlite the same as changing a burned out original bulb. The adjustable beam is still fully adjustable. Prior to swapping the old bulb out, the flashlite was tested in a dark room to establish a brightness baseline. Then the bulb was swapped to the LED and tested in the same dark room. By eye, it was at least 6x brighter (as determined by eye, not a light meter). The light is bright white instead of the yellow of the original bulb, which further improved visibility. Overall it was a good upgrade for the MAGLITE. I give it five stars for brightness, four stars for value since it is a little pricey. I cannot rate it for improved battery life since it was just installed.

This light bulb is absolutely amazing!! I have one of those great Mag Light 2 D battery models. If anyone has one of these they know they are junk. Mine was a knock off Mag light as well so it was even more pathetic then a normal Mag. All that being said when i did put the bulb in it did require a bit of modifications on the device that held the bulb in the light. Once completed I kid you not it was about 10x brighter than ever before. It is now on par with all the new good LED lights that you see. It's not as bright as my Cree 1000 lumen light but it's quite good and I'd give it a 300 lumen it advertises.I don't normally rate products so my doing this is a real sign I was impressed.

It's a lot lot brighter than the original bulb, nice white colour. Was really easy to fit, just popped right in. Haven't had it long enough to know about how long it lasts.

Avant de procéder au remplacement, j'ai allumé ma maglite avec les piles usagées qui se trouvaient dans celle-ci (plus de 10 ans car je ne me servais plus de cette lampe). Le filament de l'ampoule était à peine incandescent (orange) ne permettant plus du tout l'éclairage. J'ai procédé au changement par cette nouvelle ampoule led et aussi incroyable que cela puisse paraître, en allumant ma maglite avec ses piles usagées, l'éclairage était absolument incroyable, comme si j'avais mis des piles neuves. Sans ce changement d'ampoule, j'aurai probablement remplacé les piles. A n'en pas douter, les piles vont probablement durer + du double avec cette ampoule led, sans compter que celle-ci éclaire bien plus. Le prix de cette ampoule led peut paraitre un peu cher mais au final, la durée d'utilisation des piles va vite amortir ce cout.
