If i currently don't have a horn, can i add my own button to blow the horn? will everything else i need be in the box?

Yes, the horn，fixing screws, relay，wiring harness ,filter ，are In the box. You can use your own button to install it。

can i mount this horn sideways

You can mount pretty much any direction. I just wouldn’t face them up, water would collect and ruin.

Does this fit a jeep cherokee sport 4.0?

It fits where you find space. Look at the horn dimensions. Look at possible mounting places in your Sport. Would you like someone to do the thinking and looking for you?

Is this horn really 150 dB? I seriously doubt it given its size.

The sound of this horn is really loud. The measured 140-150 DB,sounds like a big truck.
