If you have little ones, this is a must have item to keep in your vehicle for on-the-go potty emergencies. It comes with its own plastic, drawstring carrying bag, making it convenient for long trips, short trips, or outings where you will need a clean toilet seat for your toddler to use. It is appears to be a well made, heavy duty plastic toilet seat that is durable. The "OXO Tot 2-in-1 Go Portable Potty..." is perfectly sized for a toddler. It is a white, smooth, round toilet seat that has collapsible legs with rubber feet for stability when used as a free-standing potty. It fits nicely on top of a standard toilet seat, so little ones don't have to sit directly on a public toilet seat or Porta Potty seat or hold onto it either. If there isn't a public toilet available or if a little one can't wait until they get home, it can be used as a free-standing potty. The rubber feet on the collapsible legs provide stability, making the toddler feel secure while using it. A grocery bag with a diaper as an absorbent liner can be used for those emergency stops. Our daughter and son-in-law carry one with them when they take our 3 year old and 4 year old granddaughters on outings where they will will have to use a public toilet or Porta Potty, for example the park, the local playground, or street fairs. They also keep one in their car just in case they have an on-the-road potty emergency. They appreciate its portability and convenience, while the children find it comfortable to use. OMG!! A coworker told me about this when I was mentioning to her my apprehension about driving to our family reunion being that my 3 year old son had finally started adapting to not "going potty" in his pullups. She immediately said this was a lifesaver and she takes it everywhere. So I ordered it, not really having high hopes, but figuring I'd give it a try. OMG, OMG, OMG!! Do you know the whole time we were driving my son told me like 4 times that he had to "peepee" (4 times is a lot because it was only a 4 hour drive). I think he saw it as a game. Dad was driving and I was sitting in the back with him and 1 year old daughter. I think he enjoyed being pulled out of carseat and placed on potty while in the car. We had him wear a pullup just incase, but he didn't go in pullup, he was thrilled to use this new invention. Having said all of that, it is very easy to use, it folds in flat and comes in a thick drawstring durable plastic bag. It also comes with a few disposable bags that have an absorbent pad attached to the inside base to help retain the mess. The reusable bags are designed to be pulled over potty and drop down inside to catch waste. This is great for road trips, as well as everyday here and there's. You can use it in a restaurant if your child needs to go but you don't feel comfortable with them sitting on the public toilet seat or anywhere else at that, because not only does this fold out as a standing potty, but the legs hyperextend out to create arms that allow it to balance across a toilet, (ofcourse when you balance it on a toilet you won't need to use the bags.) I definitely recommend this if you are potty training your little one or even if you have a toddler and are a germaphobe about public bathrooms. Buy it! You won't regret it!

This has saved my life so many times!!! While potty training there were so many times while at a park or while on a road trip etc where my toddler had to go potty and we didn’t have time to try to find a bathroom near by. We would just pullover and have him go in this and I works like a champ! Way better than a poopy accident in a car seat etc. seriously this is a must have for a potty training parent!! In fact even though he is potty trained we still use it often for when you need a potty and fast! It’s easy to use and way worth it! I love that it collapses and that it has its only little bag to store it in.

This was one of my must have items as a mom of young kids-it is compact and portable, very sturdy (even older kids can use it in a pinch), and so convenient. It saved us on road trips many times, and is so handy when a safe, clean bathroom is unavailable. The bags have an absorbent liner that helps keep messes contained until it can be disposed of. A regular small trash bag lined with paper towels also works just fine. This is one of my go to gifts for new parents. Highly recommend.

This seat is amazing, so useful, very sturdy. I read a few reviews when looking to purchase that said it was wobbly on the toilet bit I found that when using forward on the toilet seat instead of toward the back of the seat like the instructions say to the seat will teeter forward. A con would be that this seat would be difficult to unfold one handed but possible if you have a minute since you have to hold the grey buttons on the bottom to completely unfold or close the oxo seat however that is what make the seat so secure and sturdy and well as safe. And if you're concerned about the back of your little ones legs touching the toilet seat especially in a public place is would recommend getting sa fabric or disposable seat cover to place under the oxo seat since it does not cover the whole seat and must be placed further back on the toilet. Compare to the kalencom seat this one seems much more comfortable and contoured. My 18lb 6 month old sits perfectly on this seat for ECers who are wondering if this seat would be small enough. Something to consider is that the splash guard is a little short for boys, it could easily be a messy situation if not sitting or aimed properly . However for me, the cons far outweigh the pros and the convenience and ease of this product it s a multi functional travel potty that would sit any baby able to sit themselves what more could I ask for that your can take anywhere? Bought this for our family vacation. Our 2 year old is newly potty trained and we wanted something that we could keep in the car. This was perfect. It folds up , comes with bags for easy cleanup, it was plenty sturdy for our kids size, fit in our storage space in the trunk, comes with a storage bag, the bags have absorbing pads to keep from leaking. It was perfect for our “no bathroom in sight” vacation.

Literally a life saver. I can’t even count how many times we have used this, especially when we are out and about and there are no bathrooms nearby. It has saved us from accidents while our son is still newly potty trained. It is so easy to use, lightweight, and stores flat. Cons: it only comes with a handful of bags. You will need replacement bags if you plan to use it often. Also, the storage bag is plastic. It may be a bit easier to clean (?) but I do worry about its durability.

Have 2 other different kind of potty. Thisnis great when kids wants to use the big toilet. Have to use a step stool with this. Great when traveling, in malls or camping. With compact and the plastic is thick. Looks expensive too. Not cheaply made

We had already progressed well with potty training with a larger non-folding child training seat at home. However, inevitably, some 15 minutes into a 1 hour car journey we were alerted that it was time to sit on the throne, and we realised that we had no plan for dealing with such situations! Having crossed that hurdle, that evening we sought solutions and came across the oxo tot potty, which we bought to keep in the car with the fantacy that we would never need to use it. It's now been used a number of times, most often we use it as a seat on adult toilet when we're out and about and it's actually small enough to pack in a bag to carry out with us. And for the small number of emergencies when an adult toilet hasn't been in range to plastic bags have performed well, and allow easy and clean disposal. For the occasions when travelling by car when there hasn't been a bin in the immediate vicinity we put the bag in another zip-lock bag to ensure secure containment of the cargo. The seat has two rubber grips to hold a plastic bag on the seat. These don't hold it well, but without much trouble are not really necessarily. The seat is smaller than other, which makes it ideal for travel, but I recommend a larger non folding seat for use at home. Nevertheless, on the go potty training is solved!

This has been one of the best purchases I’ve made for my little one. We have brought it everywhere we go, amusement parks, farms, trips. It makes potty training and bathroom experiences a lot less stressful.
