I bought two of these for my house this winter. Oil prices are so high that I knew I wouldn't be able to keep my house very warm. My thermostat is set to 60 degrees, which I don't really mind since I like the cold. I wanted a way to heat my couch area so I could be a little warmer while watching TV and relaxing. This worked perfectly. I put it above my couch and turn it on when I'm relaxing and I stay toasty warm under it. I have a thermometer next to the couch and it does heat up the area up to 5 degrees. Best part is it doesn't spike up my electric bill like a ceramic heater would. I put the second one in my bathroom, so I'm not freezing when I get out of the shower. I used i run a ceramic space heater in there before I got in the shower to warm up the room, but it was really pulling up my electric bill. These are much more energy efficient.Mounting it is a bit confusing with the directions it comes with, but the video directions posted helped a lot. It really is a two person job, but I managed to mount both myself. As an added bonus, my cats also love lounging under them!

We bought this wall heater for our bathroom. In cold days, the central house heater isn’t enough. We installed it over the bathroom door. It works beautifully. It emits nice heat on LOW quickly. The remote is a great addition because the heater is high up. The seller was outstanding and incredible to work with. Highly recommend both seller and product. Miki

I've only had this for 3 weeks and it quit working. It worked great at first, then today it shut off. At first I thought is was the overheat protection, because after a few minutes I was able to turn it back on. Then after about 10 minutes it turned off again. The power light was on but the heater wouldn't turn on. Then about 20 minutes later, the power light turned off and wouldn't turn back on. Now it's just sitting there...mounted to my brick wall and not doing anything. 😑 time for a refund.

I wanted a radiant heat source for my travel trailer! Be aware that this is a relatively large unit, which I missed reading the dimensions, and is probably too large for my needs!The timer is an important addition, given that I may forget it is on when out of the travel trailer! A second timer, on and off, would be nice, or a temperature sensor to turn it on when it gets cold!Caution, after turning it on at 4 am this morning (it was 55° in the trailer) for an hour, it heated up the ceiling to the point that I couldn't touch it! 🤔😮I had it pointing straight out, so I adjusted the angle towards the floor and I will retest it to see if the ceiling still gets hot! I may have to install a metal barrier between the heater and the ceiling!A redesign of the top (more overhang) to minimize the heat hitting the ceiling would be recommended!

I use this heater in my garage. Unfortunately, the element broke after a week and a half. Called Amazon on a Sunday morning. They put me in touch with AKIRES. Later THAT day, I received a msg, apologizing for the issue. They immediately shipped me a replacement - no questions asked.In the meantime, I bought a heater of the same wattage (1500), but with a fan. It heated, but nowhere near what the AKIRES Infrared Heater puts out. I'm very happy with my replacement heater AND couldn't be happier with the level of Customer Service.

Heat output is good, used for my garage and when I’m working out there I’m comfortable. Customer service is excellent. Had an issue and they resolved it readily.

This is a great heater. It heats up fast and stays on for a while . This is definitely worth the price.

We bought two of these in late December. One quit working about a week after Amazon’s 30-day return window. Sent a message to customer service several days ago. I’m still waiting for a reply. While it was working, it worked great. We didn’t use it often, but it definitely took the chill off the patio when we did. Just wish Customer Service meant actual service.Since I wrote this, the second one went the same way. Still no response from customer service.

El equipo funcionó bien unos días después dejó de funcionar la segunda temperatura P2 desafortunadamente ya había pasado el periodo para devolución y un par de semanas después dejó de funcionar la primera temperatura P1 también

Creo que se quemo la resistencia pues ya no prendió tiene reparación??
