Best fine point gel pens I've tried
I had never held a pen that writes so smoothly, better than my EnerGels of similar tip size. It does not skip regardless of angle, does not feel scratchy, does not leak, does not smudge, and does not bleed even through thin dollar store composition notebook paper. The pigment is strong and the lines are consistent. Great for fast, light, small handwriting, and a delight to draw with. This has become my all-time favourite pen, and the batch I got was in perfect condition.

Very nice and smooth
I ordered these Pilot Hi-Tec-C 04 and PenMont Retractable Gel Roller Pens to compare. While PenMont makes even finer line (that was a point of me buying both), it requires 90 deg angle for smooth writting experience. Pilot's line is nearly unnoticeably thicker, but the writing it smoother even at steep angles which was immediately noticeable for me. Pilot is an inch shorter, a little bit heavier (they are both small lightweight pens). All in all I prefer the Pilot due to very smooth writing experience.

My go-to pens
As an artist, I've been using these pens since I was in college, and I refuse to work with any other pen. The quality is just as good as felt-tip, if not better, and unlike felt-tip pens, they don't go blunt because of their metal tips. Even if you're just using them for writing, they're still really good pens. I highly recommend them to anyone who is in need of a good quality drawing pen that is still affordable.
