Premium Travel Pillow (Blue) Sleep with NO Neck Pain Super Soft Memory Foam Neck Pillow Easy Washing with Removable Cover

This neck support/pillow has a VERY soft outsider cover, kind of like a microfiber. The inside is a VERY SOFT and pressure sensitive memory foam. Between the two, you'd think it would be super comfortable, but I found it to be uncomfortable, unless I "got it in the right position", and I'm not sure why. It seems stiff when it's pushing on my neck, but how could it be when it's so soft???Upon opening this (it comes in a thin "zip-loc" type bag which you could use to store it), knowing that it was made in communist China (which is known to have lead and mercury dust on everything), the first thing I did was unzip it so I could wash the cover. In doing that, I discovered that the zipper is made VERY cheaply. However, the fact that it is small and cheap, also makes it almost unnoticeable, and it's not going to be poking you. I hand washed the cover in a hand sink and dried it on low in the dryer, turning it inside out part way through as it wasn't getting completely dry on the inside. After washing/drying, when I put the interior memory foam piece back in the cover, it was somewhat hard to get in, and I had to be careful with the cheap zipper in order to get it closed again, gently working the two zipper sides together as I carefully zipped it closed. Incidentally, there wasn't any significant fading when I washed it. The stitching on it seems to be very good too.I bought this to push my head up from the back of my recliner-couch, for when I had products on my hair. It does that well. However, in doing so, it pushes on my neck, and I end up with a sore neck. Adjusting it to more of an angle does help to avoid that. Other people have commented on how they didn't like it due to it's stiffness, but I just don't see how the manufacturer could have made it any softer, and have it still give support.I don't think you are going to get a better pillow of this type, so I am going to recommend it, but keep in mind what I said in my review about the softness and stiffness. There was another one on Amazon, that had foam beads in it, but I got this one instead, because of visions of me taking it on a plane, and having it burst open shooting tiny foam beads all over. lol.This pillow is Made In communist China, for Zeejay Products, a US based company out of Missouri.4 stars for being perplexingly stiff, having the cheap zipper, and for being made in a communist China.UPDATE: I've figured out why this super soft pillow is uncomfortable, and why some reviewer's have reported it as being stiff. IT'S NOT THE PILLOW itself, it's the common design of this TYPE of pillow. Here's my analysis: If this pillow is put around the neck, it doesn't support the head, causing the head to pull back causing neck pain. If the pillow is angled up to support the head, then the neck isn't supported, causing the neck to bow back slightly, which causes neck and upper back pain, since there is now no support of the neck. It seems to me, the only solution is a whole different pillow design, which is portable, soft, and supports BOTH the neck and the head.

Not as firm of memory foam as what I’m used to.

I have server arthritis in my neck I can put it on and lay down for a hour or less it relieve my pain, recommend it to anyone with neck or shoulder pain

I love the feel & support of this pillow and the covering can be zipped off & washed.The snap is handy to keep pillow from falling off your neck or off your backpack while traveling.

I use this when sitting and watching tv. I fell asleep one day and awoke with NO neck pain, alignment with this little pillow was perfect. Automobile trips will be great from now on. Zippered cover so it can be washed. Perfect size for smaller neck.

The neck is wide so if you have a smaller neck size, this may not be the best fit for you. The pillow is comfortable for shorter use, but after 2-3 hours, it irritated my neck and had to take it off.This was not a good purchase for me.
