I'll start by saying, this is not a great waffle maker. The waffles it makes are OK, perfectly fine for making a bunch of waffles to put in the fridge/freezer to toast later. But I LOVE the sandwich maker function. I've used it almost daily, for grilled sandwiches, stuffed quesadillas, mini cornbreads (just pour the batter into the little triangle wells), and to heat up tater tots and grill frozen sausage. I love that the non-stick is ceramic so I don't have to worry about PFAS. And it's super easy to clean because of the removable plates.

I’ve had this for about 6 months. Use it about once a week and it was fine at first but now it doesn’t heat. I was never really impressed by the quality. It seemed flimsy. I bought it because I wanted a non toxic waffle iron, but I guess I’ll be buying another.

Love this waffle maker! Perfect small size that's fits in our cabinet well and doesn't take up a ton of counter space when we use it. Very easy to use and make waffles with. Super easy to remove the little plates to clean them. It takes a few more rounds than I thought it would to fully cook the waffles but the waffles pop right out perfectly so not complaining with many more pros than that one con. Good value for the money. Comes out fresh and hot temperature.

This product worked well. It is lightweight and cooks the waffles thoroughly. I prefer my waffles to be crunchy so I should have cooked them a bit longer.

I bought this because I hoped it would be easy to clean with the removable plates. That was definitely not the case. The plates themselves were easy to clean, but the problem was that the sandwich maker didn't pinch the outsides together enough, so just making a grilled cheese meant that cheese was oozing out from the sandwich and all over the device. The plates could be easily cleaned, but cleaning melted cheese from inside the little cracks was a nightmare. Unfortunately, that nightmare ended after the third use when it was being cleaned and a piece chipped off near the switch to release the bottom plate, preventing the switch from working. After that I threw it away. It's a cheap product, and there's a reason for that. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more money on a better quality item.

This was the most affordable of the supposedly non-toxic pfoa and pfa free etcetera ceramic electric waffle makers I could find. Once I figured out the correct amount of mix to put in the iron it made waffles crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sandwich/pocket pie plates are nice as well. It's hard to melt a vegan grilled cheese on a regular skillet without burning the bread before the cheese even starts to melt, but with this... it melts perfectly. I've had it about a week and used it several times daily. I'd prefer the larger GreenPan maker but it's out of my budget and this is a few hundred cheaper and I'm happy they made an affordable non-toxic plate version.

Purchased because it was less toxic than most waffle makers. Very disappointed. It take a while to heat up. The waffles do not brown well. I would not recommend.

I bought this mainly to make easy grilled sandwiches. The waffle plates work great, just don't over load them and you'll get perfect waffles. The sandwich plates however don't work that well. You can't really use gourmet bread - that wide slide bread because it's too big to fit. You can cut it in half and use both sides but the diagonal divider almost cuts your bread in half. Your bread need to be soft enough to squish down - and that's the part I don't like. By the time you put your filling in - whether it's just cheese, meat and cheese or other filling, when you close it your bread squashed down and not pleasant to eat. It's hard and a bit brittle. Cheese does tend to spill out the sides too. This would be better if the sandwich plates had a bit more room between them when you clamp it shut. I don't hate it but it's really just good for waffles.

Takes a little longer to cook waffles (about 4 mins) but does a good job. Good to know it is more safe for your health than other brands. Have used about 5 times and so far, so good.

Used it only a handful of times in the past year. No longer works now. Won’t even turn on.

The plates for making sandwiches are so shallow that regular cut bread can not be used. I had to buy flat bread (2mm thick) and even so the filling was half out. And is very difficult to clean... I hoped that having removable plates will be easy to clean... I wish! Everytime I have to unscrew the base which hold the plate and to clean inside. Now I regret that I didn't send it back... Conclusion: don't buy it!
