Would be 5 stars if they didn't mysteriously stop working after a few weeks (update)
***Update 5/11/18****After reaching out to Anker they were able to provide me new headphones being that I was in their 18 month warranty period. The headphones were shipped promptly and work great. I have no complaints. I've upgraded this review to 5 stars due to their excellent customer service.Sound:These headphones are really nice sounding. Really loud when device is on highest setting (could be a good or bad thing depending on your preference). Not much ambient sound is let in, so if you need to hear your surroundings these may not be for you. I did not mind this as I use these for working out and do not like to be disturbed.Fit:The fit is very secure, I had no worries about the headphones falling out while working out or running. Very comfortable even after wearing for a few hours.Controls:The controls are very intuitive and easy to feel for without looking (good for running). One negative for me is that you have to hold the the power button for a 4-5 seconds to power on/off. This actually can be viewed as a positive for some who want to avoid accidentally turning on the device while not in use. The charging port is also located on the control module. The charging port is protected by a plastic cover.Battery Life:I've only had the headphones for about a month and have had no complaints about battery life. Enough for 4-5 days of workouts (about an hour each) without going dead. I've never pushed the battery to full 0%.Carry Case:The headphones come with a surprisingly nice case given the price point. It also has a carabiner which is a nice touch. There is a small mesh netting to hold small items in there also. The headphones seem secure in the case.So all of these good things about the headphones, why only two stars?:After owning these headphones for a few weeks I was a very satisfied customer; until one day they stopped working during my workout. I suspect it was because of my sweat, which makes me question the actual waterproofness of these headphones. I would love to recommend these headphones to you but unfortunately, if you workout and sweat a lot like me these may not be for you.

Mixed Feelings
*** I am editing this review a year later based on the response I received from Anker support and the replacement I received. They reached out to me after I posted my initial review and gave me trouble-shooting instructions. I started doing what they suggested but lost track and kept living with the condition of the set that I had, since they worked 'well enough'. Finally, it got to the point where I was only getting about 3 - 4 hours out of a charge and I reached back out to Anker Support. I feared that since 11 months had passed since the purchase I would be out of luck. This was not the case. The support folks were just as attentive. I ran a couple of easy tests, and they sent me the new updated version. These new ones are nothing short of incredible (and not just at this price point) -- they have the sound quality I was experiencing with my initial pair and boast an insane (insanely good, that is) battery life -- I can get 14 hours from a single charge easily, and it audibly tell you the battery charge level when you turn them on. I cannot recommend these enough (and I am, in no way, being compensated to say so). It is my unscientific opinion that these rival wireless earbuds in the $99 - 150 range. I gave out 4 pairs of these as stocking-stuffers. Nice job on the product updates Anker! This is my second go-round with the Curve. I had the first pair for 13 month before it succumbed to the wrath of a slamming car door. Prior to that I was using the Anker Sport earbuds, which were fine for the price, however the Curve blows them away in fit, features, and -- I don't know -- funkiness? (Something that starts with an 'f' because I love me some alliteration.)Anyway, as soon as I destroyed my first pair of Curves I walked straight into the house and ordered up another pair.Sadly, the second pair was not the same. They look the same. They have the same model number and SKU -- every indication is that they are the exact same product that I fell in (tech) love with, lo those 13 short months before.Right out of the gate I noticed that the new pair didn't have the same dazzling sound as my original pair; and yes, I would describe the first pairs' sound quality as 'dazzling' for a $30 headset. In fact I prefer the sound of these (right out of the box) to that of my Aiwa Arc-1s (although, after playing with the sound settings on my device, the Arcs perked up and have some serious bottom -- plus, the Aiwas are essential to completing my outfit when I am rocking the scratchocaster). The sound just wasn't as crisp as it was on the first pair. A bit more muffled. A bit more 'hey, go grab a q-tip and have a go at that earwax' (which I did, and let me just say 'yuck' and leave it at that), but the sound did not improve. I even let the drivers 'burn in' for a few weeks. The sound is very good, but not as good as the previous pair. The other issue I'm having with this new pair is the battery life. My previous two pairs of Anker buds lasted for-freakin-ever between charges (*note: 'for-freakin-ever' is less than or equal to 5 days of moderate-to-enthusiastic usage). This new pair I'm charging every two days.I still give the Curves high marks for their stay-putted-ness. Once you figure out the right combination of silicone fitting thingys, they stay in place like it is their J-O-B.Bottom line: a good sounding set of earbuds for $30-ish. Maybe this second pair is just an anomaly -- because my initial pair would've gotten and A1 Awesome Numero Uno rating, but you can't live the past.
