Lithium Ion Pro Rechargeable Cordless Hair Clippers for Home Haircuts

I'm a male in my 50's who's been cutting my own hair most of my life. I've been using a corded set of trimmers I got from costco about 20 years ago, they still worked but they were tired to say the least. I am familiar with the wahl brand and this kit looked like it had all the parts I needed. When I bought it, it was on sale for $50. Cost wise, I would say I got a smoking deal. At the time of this review, it is currently priced at $70 and knowing what I do now, I wouldn't hesitate to buy it. The trimmer is very well built, the battery is more than enough, it is very comfortable in the hand, it cuts exceptionally well, and is very quiet. Going cordless was a complete game changer in it's self. The kit came with all the pieces I would need, and they all work well. The guards are very easy to change and do exactly what they should. I've used this a few times now and I am 100% satisfied, and then some. There is not question, if this were misplaced I'd buy another of this exact model.

Great rechargeable hair clipper! I really like how easy and convenient it is to use. It feels comfortable in my hand, the battery lasts a long time, and it cuts hair evenly. It’s perfect for use at home and has great value for the price. I definitely recommend it!

These are solid clippers that are rechargeable and work quite well, with the good old adjustable blades AND, above all, an on/off switch that is placed on the side so that you’re not constantly turning it off by accident, which was the case with the last two Wahl clippers I had. Good choice, worth the expense.

Overall and so far I am very happy with this Wahl. I started cutting my own hair and my son’s during Covid with an inexpensive off-brand unit. I was happy with that one as well but the battery charge and life finally gave out. I definitely got my worth from it compared to dozens of trips to the haircutter at $20.00 each. I confident I’ll get the same or better with this Wahl. Taking the main unit out of the box: It looks and feels well-built. It’s not overyly heavy but also does not feel like a cheap unit with a small battery and a light cheap motor. It has a nice tapered shape that fits your hand – but the housing is a little on the slick side. I’m thinking about what I might be able to put around it to make it less slick and prone to a drop. Speaking of “drop” concerns: Although the “on-off” switch and the toggle for the blade depth have a quality feel I think they could get snapped off if the unit was dropped onto a hard floor. The cutting guards: I really like the 12 shape and depth options. Some reviewers say they are cheap and break easily. I’ve pushed and bent a few more than should happen during normal use and don’t agree. They might get brittle after many years but aside from that I think you would have to drop and step on one for a break. Accessories: For the price quite a few are added and they are decent quality if you are not cutting professionally full-time (large cleaning brush, barber comb, styling comb, scissors, blade guard, small cleaning brush, blade oil). The carrying case: As others have noted it’s just a case that does not provide any organization. It’s not worthless though and hard to complain for the price. Charging: Some reviewers don’t like the charging cord is USB instead of an AC pack. It is, though, one less that could end up in a landfill and probably keeps the price lower. The downside is charging is probably a little slower. Also, the charging plug connection at the base of the unit is not standard. Booo. You, however, can buy a charging cable with AC pack for around $10.00. I don’t have a “dead to full charge” time but will add that to the review once I do. Performance: I spent between 20-25 minutes cutting my hair and it has plenty of power and sharpness; I did not experience any pulling. It did not slow down or show any signs of using up the charge. Afterwards it charged back to 100% via USB in 30 minutes or less. The variety of guards really helped me cut evenly. So, overall, I am happy I can do a good cut. If I get 5 years from this Wahl like I did from my previous no-name unit it will be worth it and more than pay for itself – and I think I will.

This is the 3rd Wahl hair clipper I've bought in the last 20 years and the first cordless. The issue with the corded clippers is that they last about 7-8 years before the cord frays and breaks. I've now owned the cordless clipper for a couple years and it is performing admirably. Cuts cleanly, easy to recharge. Hopefully I can get 10 more years out of it.

These clippers have worked great for us so far! I was nervous based on some of the reviews but we have had zero issues. My only complaint is the scissors that come with it. I am no expert with cutting hair, but they seem to pull as if they are extremely dull. I was expecting higher quality with what we paid for. Overall I would purchase it all again, just knowing that the scissors will likely need replaced.

Light weight and does a good job. No cord.

These are very quiet. They have a good feel in the hand making them easy to use. It does not cone with a wall charger so plan on having one or buying one. A 5 watt, 5 volt, 1 amp charger is recommended.

Lighter than the previous cordless . Very happy with overall performance. Probably a bit expensive Delivery was next day!! Brill.

Works very well. Bought this one to replace my 15 year-old corded one. I think the guards could be a little bit better quality. My old guards were thicker and more durable plastic but these ones do the job. I also think the case could be improved. The carrying case is pretty pathetic. The other case I had was a fake leather case, but it had a specific spot for the razor to be secured in. With this case, everything kind of just flops around and it’s a cheap hard plastic case.

Corta bien, es silenciosa la máquina. He cortado dos veces y la pila sigue funcionando. Eso si, se equivocaron con más medidas de los peines, en lugar de poner una de 1 1/2 pusieron 2 de 1/2. Pero tenia otras así que opte por no regresarlo.

My original clipper was a wired Wahl purchased during the strange events of 2020. I'm much happier after purchasing this new rechargeable. It's faster, more powerful, the cut quality is more consistent, and cordlessness is priceless. The guards fit on really nicely too with a satisfying click. It even includes a proper cleaning brush so you can clean it fully before putting it away. I definitely recommend this clipper.
