Yamamotoyama Oolong Tea, 16 bags (Pack of 6)

Bottom Line: My favourite tea, by far. Pro: - Individual bags, so you don’t have to worry about loose leaves, etc. - each bag is wrapped in aluminum to ‘lock in freshness’ as they say. Considering I sometimes order too much and they sit around for a while and they are just as good, i believe it definitely works. - on the individual packaging, there are instructions about the temperature of the water as a reminder. Con: - i honestly can’t think of any. Individual tea bags aren’t for everyone, but work for me and my needs. If individual tea bags are a problem for you, there are other options from the same company. Comments: I swear i wrote a review for this previously, but was asked to again, so here i am. I love this tea. I have been drinking tea for literally decades and have tried probably a hundred+ variations, brands, types, etc. I learned long ago, that Oolong is my favourite tea. And then i found Yamamotoyama to be my favourite Oolong tea by accident… my sister in law served me it. I’ve tried cheaper ones and much more expensive ones, but this is easily my favourite regardless of the cost even. And the fact that they are wrapped in aluminum makes me even happier. I drink more tea in my household than others. Others are coffee drinkers, so we don’t brew whole pots of tea at a time; hence my desire for individually wrapped bags. - years ago, i found that a single bag of tea would be able to brew 2 standard tea cups of tea. Not sure if it was actually a ‘cup’, but… and in more recent years, one tea bag really only brews 1.5 standard tea cups. Unsure the reason. Perhaps there are fewer leaves than in decades past, or maybe the tea leaves themselves have changed over time? Now i just use a larger mug that holds more… and it all works out. Everyone has their own preferences, so find yours. - water temperature: if i recall, it is RECOMMENDED to be around 165F to 185F. I sometimes just do it at 212F and it usually does not BURN the leaves. I DO think it tastes best around 175F though… just my preference… find yours.

Love a good oolong tea much better than other teabag brands ..plus I can use one for a cup or 3 for a large pot.

We're so lolucky that we can find this iolong tea in bulk here on Amazon. We like to brew a lot of it at once, so it's great to ve able to get out favorite brand. There's nothing fancy about it. It's just a really great solid, no frills tea.

This is the best oolong I've had from a teabag. I buy these at the store for around $3-4.
