I have used Amcrest outdoor bullet IP cameras for several years and have been very pleased with their overall quality and tech support. This year, however, I have bought three of their newer ASH series cameras and the night vision is noticeably poor when compared with their previous IP2M-852 model. Same router, same WiFi signal, and same location placement as the 852 cams so it must be an issue with their IR's or engineering.

hopefully @doryleigh sees this ... I have discovered that if you "reboot" the camera through the smarthome app , you can download the clips to your phone. Not sure how long that lasts but it's an easy work around to download an important "event" once you "reboot" the camera.

Can't download uSD events to phone app. You have to plug uSD into PC for that! Or sign up for cloud storage just to download. Wifi range point to point is great: >~450ft
