Perfect
This is by far my guinea pigs favorite hay. It is consistently green and fresh with a sweet smell. I like the easy of tying the bag to the cage wire. Sometimes I catch my piggy crawled inside munching away. It is well worth the money as nothing goes to waste.

Guinea pig loves this, quality of hay is top notch, less mess
The media could not be loaded. I am a repeat buyer if this. Such a great idea with the perforated windows that you can just pop out when needed.as you can see Pappa G loves this hay. I like how he stands up to get it since it helps with his enrichment activities and prevents boredom. When the hay gets low, he even likes to climb in the box. It has a little strings attached, so you can tie it to something. This design crates way less mess. The quality is amazing and I will only buy this hay after comparing to other subpar brands.

Easy and cleaner to use
I love the fact that all the hay is contained in a clean brick while still being easily accessible by my piggies.

Most cost effective and bang for your buck
Usually when I order this the box feels to be over ten pounds, and hay is so expensive and always has quality control issues from the petstores, I've tried all of them even the "premium" ones and nothing compares to how much cheaper and the higher quality of Guineadad hay bars. I got my most recent box of these on November 21st and it lasted my pigs until January 17th. My pigs really enjoy these and it's also much less of a mess compared hay racks, I mostly pick up what they don't eat or they'll eat it themselves if there's some hay on the cage floor. It's definitely worth the investment for the time it saves as far as cage cleaning, and minimal hay wasted.

Too much dust and shavings
I used to be a big fan of GuineaDad Hay, but over the last few times I've ordered this hay I've experienced so much waste from shavings and dust in the boxes. I end up throwing away a third of the box. The quality is good, just too much in the way of shavings and dust. Another issue is with the Timothy hay there are so many really sharp pieces of hay (more like straw) that I get worried that those pieces might poke my piggy Ellie in the eye because she likes to get up inside the box and find just the right piece of hay so I end up having to pick out all of those stiff and sharp pieces of straw like hay. The Orchard hay is softer and better, which my other piggy Ernie prefers, but Ellie likes the Timothy hay better.

My girls love these hay bars and we love that it eliminates the mess of having to refill hay feeders.

And when the box is empty, he sleeps in the box.

Chopped hay
I did not like the quality of this hay. It was short strands which is not suggested for guiena pigs. Good idea not a good quality hay.
