Perfect for emptying out my backyard pond
Outstanding Performance!I can't recommend this sump pump enough—it's a solid 10 out of 5! It made draining my pond for the season a breeze. After researching various options, I chose this one because it features a convenient hose attachment. I simply screwed on my hose, and it worked flawlessly—no clamps or extra fuss required. In just about 15 minutes, it emptied my pond to nearly nothing! I'm already looking forward to using it again in the spring when I power wash the rocks and give everything a thorough cleaning. All you need to do is place the sump pump in the water, and it efficiently sucks up every drop, forcefully draining it through the hose. It’s incredibly fast and effective!

So far so good
Reading the reviews I was kind of nervous that it would be done within the summer but so far I’ve had it for 2 summers. The power it has does its job. Yeah it seems slow but again you can see the water coming out the hose strong. It’s easy to use. Just connect and it’s on. You’ll need an extension cord for sure. Worth the cost.

Good for the money but do not drop it.
It works well for the hot tub. Drains quick enough. I can say treat it gently. The plastic probably will damage easy. Good price. the leaves can be removed easily from the bottom if that is a concern. I connect a garden hose to drain., fits perfect. Worth it.

Impressive!
This little pump works extremely well!! I bought it to empty the water out of my Intex Swiming Pool and it did just that. It pumps quickly and works in an inch of water. I connected it to the water hose and up and over the edge of my pool. **I tried to put it in a bucket of water to clean the pump out before I put it away and it wouldn't pump. I then held the hose it was connected to up about a foot above the pump itself and it began to pump**

This works and helps me through the Atmospheric River season
California was hit by severe weather this year and had multiple atmospheric river that drops insane amount of rain. My house has a crawlspace and it was flooded very quickly with this amount of rain coming down.I have an old pump with a floater where i placed it in my backyard drain hole, where it will help to pump the water out as soon as the floater hits the top sensor. However this pump is old and works intermittently, it creates so much trouble that i need to constantly walk outside during heavy rain to check if the pump is working. Secondly, the height of the floater sits higher than the level where the water begins to enter my crawlspace, hence it's not effective since the water will enter before the pump start pumping water out.I finally pulled the trigger to buy this new pump, it works flawlessly so far. I need a workaround though since this pump has no sensor, it's either on or off hence sometimes I need to pump to stop when there's no more water. So my workaround was to combine this pump with a wifi plug, I can manually turn on/off in the house without needing to walk outside depend on how heavy the rain is. And I can also set up schedule to turn on/off at an interval.Yes, it does create more work for me to monitor since there's no sensor to trigger to pump. But I can now prevent water to enter my crawlspace from the backyard drain which is a plus for me. I do recommend this pump if you are looking to get one since it helps me out so far through the rainy season.

Works great !
We needed a sump pump to be able to empty out our spa. This pump was easy to use and set up. It comes with two hose adapters to use to match your hose diameter. The flow rate says it’s above 2000 gallons per hour, but we think that depends on the hose. With our standard garden hose, it took one hour to move 660 gallons of water from the tub. It was affordable and light weight and fit our needs perfectly!

The price was right.
The product was great just that I needed one that was less powerful, like 1/2 HP. But it is a great pump out with the verical float. Fills my needs.

Compact but works great so far
I've bought 3 sub pump this year the first on had a float switch which was flimsy and got stuck in drain pipe and burned out.the second one had a float in the pump and in heavy rain it would not work properly the float would stick off,to came on to quickly just took one half of a inch to bring on I think it would over heat the motor and lock it out.paid a lot more for this pump and so far very happy with it, it's a little bit louder than the other pumps but working great.it has a 1.5 inch drain pipe which is perfect for hooking up and keeping up with water when needed.would buy again.take it from me spending a little bit more is worth it, rather than switching pumps every few months or not being able to depend on the other pumps should have bought this one first.
