Super easy to install and very bright!

Great product/ great price / easy to install

This is my second review of this product. My first was not a good one as the product failed after 1 day. Seeing as you can always get a lemon from anywhere or any product, I always try at least 2. I can sum up better with pros and cons below.ProsExtremely bright - like read a newspaper at 40 yrds bright no exaggeration at all. In fact that estimate may be conservative to a degree.LightweightWaterproof - I caulked around the mounting plate anyway.Wiring is not at all flimsy but not overmuch - has a depression in back to hold excess wireLifetime warrantyDue to my bad initial review Olafus emailed me no less than 6 times offering to replace, refund or help install - they do listen.Dusk is more like almost full dark so it doesnt pop on as soon as the sun goes down like some D2D lights. Inexpensive for what they are.ConsIt shows installation with the photocell on the bottom - the light is so intensely bright that it can trigger the photocell. I never noticed it pulsing as some have, but seeing as how I had the lights angled down this last unit I installed with the photocell above the lights and with the lights slightly angled down - this I think should be mentioned in the instructions. As "If the light keeps cycling on and off move the photocell to the top of the unit"The wire clips are not worth using to connect in my opinion. They are pressure held and the wires can slip out. Use wirenuts and seal/stabilize them with electrical tape.The base plate is good to hold the wire in the receptacle as it looks like a shower drain. But if you have a little extra wire that wont fit in the little cubby in back it can be a pain to attach the unit to the base.It uses a allen head screw to attach to the base - very hard to hit the single mounting hole with it but once you do get it started it seems very stable.Not really a con, but the screws for mounting the plate are not good for gang boxes/receptacles. I had to scrounge some screws as mine was mounted to the gangbox and not to a flat wall you would use anchors in.The adjustment knobs on the individual light adjustment are small and having big hands I found them hard to maneuver/tighten.All and all a good light if it works - very bright and good for a very wide area.

It’s so bright that it’s almost too bright. Make sure you’re out in the country if you buy this. I love it. Makes it look like daylight at night.

I was not sure what to buy for the corners of the house but after adding 4 of these its like daylight at night!

Although the light is nice and bright when it's on, it only stays on for about 30 seconds and shuts off. Then it comes on, then it shuts off, over and over again all night long. Going to start a return for it. Wish me luck
