Recently, my spouse had a leg injury that required a lot of effort to stop the bleeding. The wound was on the side of his leg and not easily visible, and we kept forgetting to change the bandage. Works really good, you can cut it to size required.

I bought this product to help care for a pressure sore that my mother has. The wound is a little deep, so I cut the gauze to go inside of the wound. When I changed the dressing the next day, there was some blood in the wound indicating that there was some additional blood flow. I will have to see if continued use of this product will help expedite the healing of the wound.

Medical grade honey is what I have used exclusively for minor cuts and abrasions for years and I have never had a problem or an infection. I swear by it and am happy to recommend it to Friends, Family and … you!

Product is very sticky, but it does heal bed sores. Gauze is needed to put over the patches so you don't get the honey on your clothes.

I recently discovered this product and decided to give it a try. I have heard of the use of honey for cuts and burns, so I purchased it to keep in my bike pack and my children's first-aid kit. I have not yet had to use it, but I will update this post when I do. The product has a shelf life of 2-3 years, but I will likely use it before then with two young children learning to ride bikes. I also carry alcohol wipes and medical tape in my first-aid kit to keep the load down. This should keep things simple and avoid the mess of removing traditional bandages. The 4x4 size should be large enough to cover any scrapes on the legs, knees, elbows, or arms. I hope we do not need to cover more than two areas at a time, as I am only carrying two in each bag. The professional wrapping should be able to withstand some abuse in the bag without tearing, unlike paper bandages.

This product saved me from having a surgery. A super long incision from hip revision was not healing. My HSS surgeon was considering putting me back on the operating table which I wanted to avoid at all cost. Having grown up in communist Poland (shortage of everything but abundance of folk medicine products) with a mother who herself was raised on a farm during the WW II, I was very familiar with what folk medicine can do. I first tried my mothers “go to” remedy ribwort plantain. When that didn’t work I turned to Manuka honey wound care. It did the job. Since then I always have Manuka Honey wound care products in my house.

Excellent addition to your household /personal wound or burn treatment supplies. It is expensive but rightly so cos it really does work. Store it in the fridge.
