UPDATE:The black purse (my new travel bag) arrived today. It is just as wonderful as the Grey Gris. All the compartments have a grey-ish lining so you can see what's inside. And I mean ALL the compartments! Even the front and back zippered sections have the grey-ish lining! No more black hole! Kipling, you are awesome!ORIGINAL REVIEW:Is anyone else on a forever quest to find the right purse? It's a never-ending "Oh, this is a great bag!"... until it's not.I have been using a large Coach carryall for going "out" and a waist pack for going to work and running errands. Wearing a waist pack to travel to work is fine. But snapping it on and off while running errands is getting on my nerves.While out of town last week, I saw a Baggallini bag that was cute and large enough to be called a purse. But then I read some reviews that the quality was not what it used to be, so I skipped buying it. I really wanted a purse to replace my waist pack for errands, so I started my quest...again, and looked at Kipling. I have purchased other Kipling products over the years...backpacks, wallets, waist packs, a messenger bag, and they are high-quality. I still have several of them.I came across the Elysia crossbody. The size seemed right and I liked the compartments. It has good reviews. The purse arrived two days ago. My goodness! I just love it. It is so lightweight and comfortable. It fits everything I need to put in a purse. And it's cute - it looks great!!Both the shoulder straps and crossbody strap are comfortable. But I have shoulder pain so I switched the crossbody strap with a guitar-style purse strap because it distributes the weight better. I buy Art Tribute's purse straps because they are good quality and comfortable. Make sure you buy a strap with silver hardware.How much do I love this purse? After I put everything in it yesterday, I purchased the solid black purse for travel. The black signature embossed version of this purse is in my cart...along with a beautiful Art Tribute strap. That will be my fall/winter bag. I emptied out my Coach carryall and bagged it up for donating. It is as heavy empty as my new Kipling with everything in it.If you want a light weight, good-sized purse, this one is for you!

So light weight, the perfect size for me, and very well made with quality buckles. I now own three!

Good looking and great quality

Well made, lightweight no excess weight while carrying phone, wallet, keys etc. Many solidly zippered compartments and well sewn pockets. Great looking, nice to have shoulder and/or handles to use. Will purchase more Kiplings for sure. Priced great on Prime and delivered very quickly.

I like that the interior is a light color. I didn't realize until months after I bought it that it had two additional pockets where the handles are...they snap closed and looks like a seam to me! I think the monkey keychain has a very weird looking monkey especially compared to past Kipling purses I've purchased. The little furry ones were very cute but childish since the monkey looked like a baby one that wanted to suck its thumb. Later, the shiny chrome one was a bit clunky but tiny. Maybe they should just have an additional round Kipling logo keychain or an imprinted monkey, if they must, on a round variation of their logo. Still, I love the purse and the grey color is goes well with most clothing. I like the cross-body strap that allows hands-free shopping.

I love this bag, i use it everyday. it has so many compartments and i love that you can have it on your shoulder or cross body.

Me gustó mucho la bolsa. Su diseño con múltiples compartimentos para organizar las cosas. El cierre me encanta porque es amplio y permite buscar adecuadamente dentro las cosas, pero la forma de la bolsa hace que no parezca una bolsa enorme. En la foto se ve grande en relación a mi cuerpo, pero no sé siente así, en realidad se siente con una bolsa pequeña, pero al ser ancha aumenta mucho su capacidad. El color no me encanta porque creo que se ensuciara pronto con el uso diario y también ayudaría mucho un forro que no sea blanco. Me gustaría más opciones de colores. Pero definitivamente recomiendo ésta bolsa.
