I have spent a great amount of time using this light from Sutefoto and I 100% recommend it for all photographers and film makers out there. Either you are a beginner or high professional this light WILL be useful in your production. I have used this light both in photography and film making. The results are amazing! 1.) I love that it comes with its own light case. If you know, you know that a product with its own case is very important for you. No need to buy more cases for it. 2.) The product is not cheap material but is still durable and has great functionality. 3.) This light is very very light weight even when I add my big NP Batteries and my Soft Box together. It is very easy to carry around. If you are a wedding photographer or wedding film maker you know that carrying those big batteries and big lights can be a struggle to move around. This light helps solve that problem. 4.) I love that I can attach my NP batteries directly to the light itself. Other brands require for you to buy battery mounts and wires. Sutefoto’s light takes away all those problems. Just snap the batteries right in and you are good to go. You do need 2 NP Batteries for it to turn on. 5.) it’s comes with its own power cable to power it on. It’s a good length giving you the ability to use a good height light stand. The power cable will give you 100% light and the NP Batteries will give you a max of 80% power. But don’t let that number scare you. 80% is still very very bright. At just 1% it was still bright for me to do vlogging. 6.) The RGB mode is easy to use giving you many options to choose from. Using the RGB effect is amazing! Let’s just say that it made my neighbors think cops were really outside their house when I used the Police Light mode. 7.) I’m also impressed with the fan noise. I never had any trouble with the fan noise when doing videos. 8.) using my NP Batteries I was very amazed with how long they lasted me. I have pretty big NP batteries and they lasted me through a whole wedding reception. 9.) for the price I’m glade it’s very affordable, compared to other brands that can charge pretty high without many of the amazing features Sutefoto Light has.

This light is amazing!! There are so many pros to using this light for both video and photo 1. Strong light output for 100w, I was very surprised at how bright it gets 2. Small and lightweight 3. Comes with a carrying case/bag that is very durable 4. Can be powered by batteries, which is good for on location shoots ** The biggest pro to this light*** 5. It’s Bi-Color and RGB with multiple preset lighting effects. I’ve used this light for both video and photos, and was very happy with the end results.

I now have two of these lights, and use them for photo shoots at studios. - They really shine, no pun intended, as background lights, where you can quickly or automatically change colors to get different looks. Set up a neutral wall behind your subject and you can have any color background you want. - The carrying case it comes with is nice and convenient. - The ability to use batteries for power opens it up for outdoor use, though the light is not powerful enough to compete with the Sun so it's better at night, or just to make make moving around a studio easier. There are small issues that I've run into. - The mount does not have a hole for an umbrella, so you have to come up with a different solution for that. - The two lights I have don't exactly match each other in color temperature. When at the same settings, one is a little warmer than the other. - The app is nice when it works but can be finicky, so I stopped using it.

It is truly a complete, budget-friendly solution for videographers/cinematographers needing an RGB lighting solution. In a small package and affordable package you get to have a wireless 100W keylight or a full RGB accent light! Best of all you can control it through a fairly simple mobile app. It even comes with a starter reflector and a carrying casehe carrying case to hold everything you will need to bring this light to a location, and even has external straps so you can bring your stands and light modifiers too! The build quality is admittedly a bit plastic-y, but that provides the benefit in making the unit itself not overly heavy. The locks and joints are not the most sturdy and intuitive, but that is a small price to pay for a nice-looking, well designed RGB light. You have simple switches to ignite via wired or battery modes, and two knobs to traverse intensity of your light output or navigate the different lighting options. While in-use, the light is also very quiet so it won’t disrupt your filming even when you’re recording close to the light. The illumination itself is great. The 100W listed power output is more than enough for some simple talking head/small setup shoots even when shooting through different types of light modifiers. Since I only have 1 unit for now, I won’t be able to test the multiple light setup where you can control your lights in groups via the app, but as listed, you have limitless color options and some FX settings to use. Other tests have listed that with 2 NPF 70 batteries (the thicker ones), light can be pumped out for more than 2 hours! I feel that is reasonable particularly because you can always have the light wired. The lack of a battery meter and having to use 2 NPFs are features that definitely need to be addressed in future models and would be wonderful if they can keep it at this price point. Overall, it’s cheap, versatile and almost has everything you need in an all-in-one pro-sumer lighting solution. Apart from not including the NPF batteries in the package, the biggest complaint I have is I only have 1 of these for now! Have 2-3 of these in a home/small studio will have amazing flexibility in totally changing up the space with multiple color variations! This is absolutely great for budding videographers, cinematographers that are just starting to build their shoot space out YouTube and small-to-medium projects.

I’ve received this light from Sutefoto quickly. I was pleasantly surprised of the packaging for the price! The carrying case is good quality. Small and light. I’m am a glamour, fashion and Boudoir photographer and soot in studio and on location. And this light is great for both. It plugs in to the wall when in the studio but what’s even nicer you can use batteries (sold) separately when on location. I had to do a few shoots before I could review it. And now after multiple shoots I can say “ Buy This Now” if you’ve been thinking of you should, you definitely should. The built in bowens mount is perfect. I use my EZ Glow soft boxes with this with ease. It’s quiet, affordable and quality. It’s easy to change the color temperature and go thru the RGB colors as well. And what I like alot is that’s it connects to the app! I have 2 TP25 tube lights < I will be getting more) and I can control all the lights using the app. If even has all the cool effects like police , fire or lightning just to name a few. When this product first arrived, I was a little skeptical based on the weight of the actual light. Normally I am used to lugging around heavy lights like this for video and photo shoots so this one was much lighter than the rest I use. After reading the directions and playing around with it a little, I bumped up the intensity to 100% and I was BLOWN away! This Sutefoto light got so intense and bright that I was very shocked by the power. The next thing that really helped me was the app! You can save your settings, make slight adjustments on the go, and dial in your settings to exactly how you want it! Definitely a great feature. Of course, it comes standard with the Bowens Mount which makes this light so easy to integrate into your current gear! Any other lighting that has the same specs is going to cost you more as well! All in all, I am thoroughly blown away by this light. From the intensity of light it outputs to the different modes and FX you can use on it prebuilt in. Definitely a great piece of equipment to add to your gear!

The sound is annoying but not loud enough to be picked up on most audio. Music would cover this up. Over all I think this light is a buy, if you’re looking for a super bright light with awesome colors that is also very portable.

I'm a Working Gaffer/Cinematographer who owns the P80RGB so that is what i will be Comparing this light to. Firstly - the Build Quality: This light is Plastic(All Over, even the mounting bracket) so please know that going into your purchase, however it doesn't feel like cheap plasticky lights i've owned before on Amazon, as long as you don't drop these I feel like they should hold up, There's also a Glass Element in front of. the COB protecting the Leds, which is a nice touch. Secondly - Battery/Power Options: The P100 RGB comes with 2 Sony NPF battery Mounts on the side of the unit so you can run the Light Directly from 2 Batteries(Won't work with 1) without Having to use an Additional Battery Plate Like the P80RGB, However when using the Sony Batteries you are Limited to 80% brightness on the Fixture. An Alternative to this(which i tested is working) is to Use a V-mount Battery and a D-tap to 12v cable(same one used for on-camera Monitors) and you can power the light through the DC port which allows you to get 100% Brightness. The light also comes with a DC power charger so you can run it off of mains power if you don't have batteries. There's a 2-way Power Rocker Switch on the Back of the Unit so you Don't Fry Your Batteries if you Plug in the DC Adapter which is a Nice Touch.(On the switch down is for Dc power and up is for Battery Power). Third - Power Output: When Comparing this Light to My P80 RGB this light is about 1and1/3 stop brighter for only being a 20w difference in power draw. I think this is due to the fact of it have bigger warm/cool LED chips on the unit. When adding the Included Hyper Reflector it increases the output by another stop. there is a slight hot spot in the center(not as bad as the p80RGB) and Very noticeable Color Fringing on the edge of the light circle especially in RGB/HSI mode. Fourth - Fan Noise: There is a Built-in fan on this unit which is fairly quiet but i did notice a slight high pitched wining noise when i went above 35%, I'll have to do more testing to confirm this but it may have been from first usage of the light. The Most Important - Color Accuracy: In CCT mode I did a WB test at All The Major Kelvin Temps and the Unit wasn't more than 200 Kelvin off which is a Big feat for a Light in this Price range. It also has -+ G/M shift up to 5 in each direction but be warned it uses the RGB leds to do this correction and you can't do micro Adjustments so you might get more G/M than you want if you use this feature. Summary: This is a cool Little Light for the price, the extra punch in power is welcome and is a great addition if you already own a P80RGB as the use the same Wireless APP and come in the Same Padded case. The Only Drawback is the Plastic Build but if you take care of your lights like I do then it should last you a few Years. My light stopped working after using 4 times They refused to change the light for me, the light is useless here it doesn’t work and I can’t find the seller’s contact I feel so cheated and won’t recommend this light to anyone ($418) wasted and it didn’t even come with batteries
