Shop-Vac 5 Gal 5.5 HP Wet/Dry Vacuum, Wall Mount, 9522236

When I first got this, it was much larger than expected but it is very nice, slim designs. Set up a car vacuum station in garage and is great and convenient. Vacuum has excellent power/suction. Attachments are great love the xtra long hose. Would have been better design if the place where the hose attaches to canister was on the side to me more sleek and not protrude out so much. Because it is not, I store it with the hose detached.

This shipboard is perfect for a 77 year old to use. Light weight, compact and powerful, it’s just what I needed. Highly recommended.

Replacing a Shop vac Pro that last over 20 years. Hated that it stopped working but I was very pleased with the performance so I bought a new one. The Classic works great, has strong suction and of course mounts to the wall. Obviously it is new but so far so good. With the wall mount and included accessories it is exactly what I needed. Caught this one on sale so even better.

good machine with a few draw backs, 1 hose could be just a touch longer, if you have it in a two car garage 2 I wish the floor attachment had a brush on it

These are great vacuums, I bought this one to replace one I've had for about 20 years, and it actually still works but smells bad when running, obviously because of something I did. The new one is a clone and I expect many years of use. These vac's are plenty powerful and the 18' hose is great!

IN some ways this is cheap junk. It has good suction and it is over 5 full gallons, which is more than enough because your never fill it up because the hose clogs so frequently that you can't actually use the vacuum cleaner to vacuum anything clean. I'm an old man, and sometimes I get conned owing to my own stupidity. In this case, I thought the inch and a quarter diameter hose was standard and big enough to vacuum up sawdust and small shavings in my wood shop. I spent over 45 minutes on a 10 minute job vacuuming in my shop because I stopped ever 30 to 60 seconds to unclog the hose. After the 6th time, I made a 3 foot long narrow stick to ram through the flex hose so that I could unclog it and return to work. After a 12th time, I cracked the thin, weak, cheap plastic on the fitting at the end of the flex hose. Eventually, I just gave up, got a broom, and worked on cleaning up my shop like it was the the 18th century. I paid 170 dollars for this, and it will never work. It's too late for me to return this, so I am sad, disappointed, and obviously feeling like a fool.

What I like about this wall shop vac is the size, suction, value for my money, portability, and maneuverability. I can’t just pick one. I work in a small area 5 days a week. I usually use a huge shop vac and it’s been driving me crazy. Lol It was always in the way, Im always tripping over the cord, hose, the hose was too big, not flexible enough, and too short. I like being able to put this shop vac on the wall, roll up the hose, 18 ft hose, and the diameter. One draw back is the diameter of the hose. It does have its draw backs because of it. You need to slow down a bit and not suck up so much stuff at once or it will plug up fast. I’ve only used this for two days and I’m loving it. As far as the noise, yes it’s loud, but what shop vac isn’t, I expected it was going to be. I used very large shop vacs for years. 😁 p.s I don’t know about the durability, used it for a short time. If it works out, I will be buying more for the other grooming stations.

I was replacing my Craftsman shop vac that looks exactly the same. Overall there is definitely a quality difference which is most noticeable in the Hose, attachments, wall mount and tool holder. I purchased bags since I'd be running this inside my house house to minimize and dust. My vacuum makes a high pitched whistling sound when using it. I did take off the filter thinking this might help but it is still making the same high pitch noise. The instruction are basically no help and provide NO detail to explain if filter should stay ON or OFF when using a bag. The vacuum seems to have very good suction but a very small hose opening. A bit disappointing but more disappointed in the quality and noise and lack of detailed directions. Wish I would have purchased a different one.
