I love these and don't go to play pool without one. I'm obsessive, and use them way more than most would consider necessary. I can feel the difference instantly and in my opinion having perfection in the cue tip is the secret to a consistent game.I've owned various shapers and repair tools in my time, some more expensive than this - but this one performs as well or better than any I've used.Has a nice weight to it and feels nice, but discreet enough to pop in your pocket without any distraction.If you have some cues about that you have never have never repaired the tip or have been neglected, give this a go and you will likely be surprised at the difference it makes.

This little tool has already proven quite useful. My cue tip has been on for some time now and has flattened to a very smooth finish. I find this lessens the amount of chalk that adheres to the tip and thus increases the chance of miscuing and lessens accuracy when applying top, side or screw to the cue ball. I quite rub over with the tapper end and apply a little doming to the tip with the scuffing end of this tool has given my diamond tip a new lease of life. Very handy to keep with you at all times in your cue case. Excellent and good value.

This is a great little tool to keep in my games room.The tapper and scuffer both do the job well (i used to use a mini file from my tool kit)The tapper end is used to roughen up the cue tip so more chalk can adhere to it and the scuffer end is used more to shape the tip into a dome, if you unscrew the scuffer end there there is an aerator, knock this against the tip a few times to loosen the fibres a bit then use the tapper / scuffer ends.Very please with this and it fits in the cue case nicely too.+++AAA
