I have tried what looks like the exact same Northern Lights Aurora Projector from 3 different brands, and this was the only one that worked well out of the box and is still working. So if you are shopping for aurora lights, I highly recommend to buy this brand (AIRIVO).The aurora lights effect is beautiful and very relaxing. It did take some trial and error to find the best place to position it. The effect is best if device can be placed low, even on the floor, and closer to the center of the room. But not somewhere where you might accidentally look directly at the device when on (just look up at the aurora light cast on the walls and ceiling), or you could hurt your eyes for how bright it is.As for it's audio features:The river sound effect is nice for white noise. I like to play overnight while I sleep. I'm not a fan of any of the other sound effects, though, just the river sounds.The blue-tooth sound quality was awful to the point of unusable.In summery:Don't buy one of these to play music through - the sound quality is bad.Do buy for the pretty aurora light.

I was expecting the bluetooth to suck but actually it’s pretty decent and clear sounding!! That’s what makes me love this product even more but also that it has a great range of colors, the brightness and speed level adjustments are nice, there are also buttons on the device itself if you lose the remote, just not as many options. anyways yes i really enjoy this light projector thing thang, no complaints from me at all, in love w it☝️

I love the nightlight/ light projector. But the only option of music and sounds are annoying birds. I don’t want to connect it to Bluetooth every night for my kid to sleep to. Wish there was more than one sound/music option on the device.

Only thing we don't like about this is the auto turn off after 4 hours. Seems totally unnecessary if you use it as a nightlight. Other than that, the colors and stars are nice. The white noise sounds are pretty poor quality but we don't use them. Easy 5*if it didn't turn off after 4 hours.

If my phone were able to take good videos, I could show the beautiful, vivid colors and the soothing motion of the aurora lights as they swirl and blend on the walls and ceiling. You can set one, two or three colors to fit your mood or put the projector in auto mode and it will change on its own, giving you the chance to see all the possible combinations, all so pretty. The brightest setting is enough to bathe the room in a soft glow. Can you read by it? No but it is enough to easily see other people while you chat or watch tv. In fact, it's the only light I use in my front room at night. Sometimes I will just sit and let my mind drift with the shifting colors as the tensions of the day melt away.I didn't expect much from the sound effects but they are surprisingly sharp and clear. In fact the chirping birds sound so real my cats came running. I had to laugh when they tried to find where the birds were hiding, even looking underneath the projector. My favorite is the wind chimes. Wind chimes! I love it.On the downside, you will need a USB adapter to plug the power cord into but that does help keep the price down so not a deal breaker for me.I am very happy with this projector. It's so decorative and versatile, I already have 5 people in mind that I want to give this to as a gift.

Life gets tough. Do yourself a favor and set this lighting in a small room, with a large comfy cushion to put on the ground and lay on. Throw on your favorite playlist, or maybe some meditative melodies if you’re into that scene. Emerge transformed.

update: in 7 months the motor that adds the northern lights effect by moving the light stopped function.Overall its great the northern lights patterns look awesome, but the settings reset every time you turn it off. For those sensitive to sound, if you plan on keeping this near you in a quiet room you might hear a high pitch noise from it.
