Calgon Water Softener, 32oz Bottle, Laundry Detergent Booster (Pack of 4)

We use this product in our RV black tank so the softness and absorbency is irrelevant. I gave the value for the money a 2 star due to the bottles while wrapped tightly in plastic, they still leaked quite a bit into the plastic. I ordered 4 bottles and they all leaked quite a bit. I dumped the remaining of all bottles and ended with only receiving 3 full bottles. The product works as intended, shipper needs to figure out how to cure the leaking

This product is amazing and a MUST-HAVE for laundry, especially if you use cloth pads/diapers. It even removed deoderant built-up AND GETS RID OF YELLOW UNDERARM STAINS that plagues light-colored shirts. It even helps keep mineral buildup off towels (like cloth pads/diapers) so they stay absorbent.BUT this product was leaking from all 4 bottles. It's very hard to find and only a few Walmart stores sell it and I've even noticed in store that the product has a tendency to leak and leave residue buildup all along the bottle - I have no idea why it does that but is amazing at washing residue out of my clothes but that's how it is¯\_(ツ)_/¯So when I shop at the hellhole that is Walmart, I always made sure to pick out bottles that weren't leaking or weren't leaking AS MUCH. There's no way to do that online but hey I figured 4 bottles.....at one of them won't be gross, right? Nope. All gross. All leaking. Ffs, calgon needs to fix their packaging, the seller needs to figure out a better way to ship or someone else needs to swoop in and make a similar product. Nothing works as good as this - especially not the "all natural" water softeners. So I guess I just gotta deal for now. But I'm probably just going to trek to Walmart next time, UGH

What I like is that it keeps shirts from eventually going darker white or yellow- which is a result of hard water. This product has been Amazing keeping our whites bright, I add one capful- it’s a little less than a 1/4 of a cup, which the bottle recommends using one capful per load.I use this on loads with whites, and loads with heavy stains, really helps my tide detergent become more effective during its cycle. This also prevents calcium building up since we do have hard water.I would highly recommend this. You can use it on all fabrics. I started using this a year ago and will never stop. It’s made a big difference.

We live in the boonies and out water is really liquid rock. I add Calgon Water Softener to laundry, dishes, buckets of soapy water and baths. It performs well at a reasonable price. I have tried less expensive powder softeners which were not effective in my home. I am unable to reliably find this product in stores locally and frequently order a case from Amazon. I am not sure how my delivery person feels about a case of liquid softener but I appreciate the product and the delivery!

I have been using Calgon for years when doing my laundry and running the dishwasher. We have terrible water for pipes and appliances, so I add a cupful to every load and believe that it has helped with the life expectancy of our appliances. My sister is the property manager of a large apartment complex in my area and told me to get a water treatment system when we first moved in because she has constant problems with plumbing related issues; however, the builder took shortcut when doing things that we were unable to put in a system. When I saw this at my grocer, I began using it. It looks as though they aren't carrying it anymore.

I bought this because we have incredibly hard water. I can't even drink it, it tastes so bad. This additive to my laundry soap keeps my laundry clean, without the dingy film that accumulates from the minerals in the water. So glad I found it.

i love this product one day i got it in Walmart and tried my clothes where so soft so comfy (my 3 years old nice words so comfy). i do recommend it. and if u buy in bulk its 5$ per bottle Walmart got it for 5.86$/bottle

I use this to soften the hard water as I do not have a soft water system. This is actually the only hard water softner product that I've ever seen. Would be nice if it was available in a larger bottle.

The well water is not the best, it's hard on clothes. Since I've been using the liquid Calgon softener, I'm not getting the yellow stains and dingy look to my clothes. And it feels so much better. I use an environmentally friendly detergent and together they work great.
