Another great book
I love this author and all of her books. This is another favorite to add to my library. This book written with down-home warmth and charm, is filled with essential bible verses, herb - plant - and root information which I found valuable, and the correspondences to such information. Mama Starr writes with authority and experience which I am grateful for. Her books should be in every person's library who practices Southern-style bible-based hoodoo.

This is yet another informative, clear, and practical book from Starr Casas. She has filled this volume with tons of helpful information which is useful for beginner or experienced practitioner alike. I highly recommend all of her books, and this one is a must-have!

An excellent Addition
Starr Casas always gives detailed reasons why a thing works. I also appreciated her explanation as to the importance of the Bible in conjure/hoodoo and her gratitude to the enslaved people of southern U.S. whose need and pain created this work. This is an excellent accompaniment to many of the herbals out there.

The word lord is mentioned alot so unless you like the lord alot I don't recommend getting this, other than that, it's informative, very nice vintage looking cover
