INABA Churu Cat Treats, Lickable, Squeezable Creamy Purée Cat Treat with Green Tea Extract & Taurine, 0.5 Ounces Each Tube, 20 Tubes, Chicken Variety Box

We adopted a rescue kitten from our local Humane Society about two months ago and of course I jumped on Amazon for all her needs. I purchased all sorts of cat foods, treats, toys, tunnels, scratching posts, cat carriers, collars, ID tags etc. The Inaba Churo treats are her ABSOLUTE favorite cat treat that I’ve purchased. We’ve been consistently using the Churu treats for about 2 months now to especially bond and help train her. In my experience, some rescue cats/kittens may have unfortunately experienced past trauma. Therefore, when you first get a rescue cat/kitten, they may have trust issues. The Churu treats have helped tremendously with both bonding and personal interaction with our newest little rescue kitten, Circe rose. I spliced together a video of Circe rose training (specifically using the Inaba Churu treats) at the end of my product review video. So the key points I luv about these treats are: * The packaging is very convenient. Each foil tube is securely packaged.(invaluable for traveling) 1. I gently knead and mix the tube before opening. 2. I tear off the end and immediately throw it away so as to prevent my cat/kitten from eating it. You can control the amount of Churu treat that comes out by applying gentle pressure at the bottom of the tube, similar to squeezing out toothpaste. The consistency is extremely creamy and palatable. It does not have an obtrusive odor. The expiration date is always very far out so you don’t need to worry about it expiring any time too soon. 3. The unused portion requires refrigeration after opening. Circe rose will gladly and most energetically eat this treat at any temperature. :) * The Moisture content is 91% Especially important for cats/kittens who notoriously don’t drink enough water. The Churu treats offer hydration and a treat simultaneously. * The ingredients in this particular Churu chicken formulation includes farm-raised chicken and wild-caught tuna as the base, supplemented with taurine for heart and eye health and green tea extract for antioxidants. Importantly, there are no grains, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. * Each Churu tube contains aprox. 6 calories. An excellent alternative for overweight cats who u still want to bond with and enjoy treats in their life. * If your cat/kitten is a finicky eater or you have an elderly cat, you can add a little Churu on top or mixed into their food to encourage them to eat. * I use these Churu treats for feral, rescue cats/kittens, and all cats for interactive bonding and training. Circe rose is wildly obsessed with these treats. Hence, to ensure she understands that these are treats and not a substitute for her regular food, I only train with her after she has eaten a full meal of her regular combo of dry/wet cat foods. - Circe rose is about 4 months old and weighs 5 pounds. I usually give her maybe 1/3 -1/2 tube daily after a meal. She hasn’t had any constitution issues. - At the time of purchase, I paid about $14 for a pack of 20 chicken flavored Churu treats. Hence, I’ve tried several other Churu flavors, and Circe rose is definitely not Churu particular. With two cats in the house, I've tried plenty of different treats, but Churu has easily become one of their favorites. The second they see me pull one of these out, they already know what's coming and come running over. The biggest thing I like is the texture. It's a soft, creamy purée rather than a traditional crunchy treat, so it's really easy for them to lick directly from the tube. I also like that I can squeeze a little onto a plate or use it as a topper when I want to make their regular food a little more interesting. My cats are usually pretty picky about treats, so I was honestly surprised by how quickly they took to these. They practically inhale them, and the individual tubes make it really easy to give them a controlled amount without having to measure anything. They're also incredibly convenient. There's no bowl to clean afterward and no crumbs scattered all over the floor. I can just open a tube, let them enjoy it, and toss the empty wrapper when they're finished. I've even started using them when I need to get their attention or make something like nail trimming a little easier. I like that these aren't just another hard, crunchy treat either. The creamy consistency makes them feel more like an occasional special treat, and the added taurine and green tea extract are nice extras. I still treat them as a treat rather than replacing their regular food. The only downside is that once your cats get hooked on them, they definitely know where you keep the package. Mine have started recognizing the sound of the wrapper, so I basically can't open the cabinet without getting followed around. Overall, these have become a staple in our house. They're easy to portion, mess-free, and, most importantly, both of my cats absolutely love them. If you have a picky cat or just want a treat that's a little different from the usual crunchy snacks, I'd definitely give Churu a try.

My cats go crazy, for these treats!!! They must taste good, cause my cats eat them right down! The ingredients that are listed, look like they would be healthy for my cats. I usually give each of my cats, one of these treats, in the evening. They seem very happy and content, after they eat them.

Our cat Fluff is really not a picky eater but I wasn't for sure she would eat these. I would squeeze a tube out in her bowl and she ate it all up, but then I tried to give it to her with the tube and she lick it until it was gone and boy was I surprised. She loves all the flavor's it has and I noticed there are some vitamins in the ingredients and my daughter told me they are great in controlling hairball problems which is good because Fluff is a long hair Calico. Sometimes I have to cut the tube open because it does not open good. I don't know if anyone else has this issue but I have come across some that will not open good. I do mash the tube before I open it just to make sure it is mixed up good. Fluff does sit for her treat, so if you are in training or thinking about it these might do the trick. Some times she will put her paw on my hand so I do not pull away until she stops and if I do pull away before she is done, she gives me a look. The way Fluff acts sometimes, I think she would prefer these instead for her wet food. I know they can be pricey but if our cat loves them and they are helping her, then how can you put a price on that.

My cat is obsessed with these and specifically the chicken variety. He will not eat any other lickable treat and trust me I've tried them all. He thinks these are delicious and well worth the price!

My cat goes nuts for these treats. I just squeeze a few drops onto her food and she is super happy. 1 pouch lasts 4 times on top of her dry food. I like that opening the packets are very easy & fast & you don't need to struggle to quickly tear open and add a bit to food and I toss the tube back in the top of her kibble bin ready to use next time. There is no unpleasant odor which is a bonus. The consistency is a type of paste, think toothpaste. So it is not thin nor is it thick & easy to apply to food or allow the cat to lick from the tube

Buy these on the subscription, haven’t found in store anywhere that $ beats, and that if they have in stock too. My cats love these for treats, easy open and squeeze out. Perfect amount for treat without measuring or too much. Love that there are multi flavors in each box too.

My cat fell in love with Churus when they were using them at the vet when they knew a cat might be nervous or was used as a distraction when examining or cutting the nails. Since then we were buying them at the local pet shop but they were kind of expensive so I found them on Amazon and the skin and coat variety is making my cat's fur shine and he doesn't scratch himself much anymore..He now expects to get them when he's fed as when we were trying out better brands we thought to add to get him to eat the food and it worked but now he wants them in the morning and at night. Better like baby food so it's not a big deal. It's not like he's going to be a big fat cat because of this. They're just a very tasty to cats. I haven't found a cat that doesn't like them and he hasn't gotten sick from eating them. He loves them. So I think if you gave them to your cat they would love them too. Highly recommend

My cats love Churus,the only downside is that it’s sent via Australia Post and we’ve had to go and collect it from the post office all the time because we’re never at home when they come to deliver it; it doesn’t come with the convenience of Amazon, where your order is left on your doorstep, like Amazon packages.

I purchased these treats as one of my cats has to take a tablet every day. I hide the crushed tablet in his Churu treat and he woofs it down without a blink of an eye! I use them as a meal topper for all three of my cats which helps them enjoy their meals more as it transforms their meals into more of a treat rather then just a tin of food and encourages them to try new brands/types of food. Churu Treats don't seem to have a bad list of ingredients compared to some other treats in a similar price bracket. I'm very happy with this product as it's loved by my cats, helps me administer medication easily and is a very good value for money and of good quality ingredients.
