I purchased this set because it was a great price and I did not want to pay the higher price for the competitor. Today I made a white cake mix and put the batter in the competitor (rugby design), the flower and shell designs from this set. I brushed the pans with some oil and baked in a warmed oven. The pans are not as heavy as the competitor, but strong enough not to be messed up in the hot oven. Unfortunately, the flower and shells did not come out perfectly and some of them broke. The design is very faint to non-existent on the flowers, and some design is on the shells. Since I had the yolks from the white cake mix I scrambled them and baked them along with the cakes. The indentations came out somewhat, but not perfect. The overall impression is that you have a great price, but if you intend to do baking for spring summer motif these would not suffice.
