Very comfortable and effective, I'm happy with them. Installed them on a MSA V Guard hat with no problem.

Good for work, we have noise sounds.

I work in a mill. To put it simply, it's deafening 24/7, to the point where you're hoarse every day from trying to communicate with people. I bought these muffs because the foam plugs hurt my ears after a while. To be honest, I think these particular muffs reduced decibels more than the 3M plugs that the mill had available to use. I rated noise cancellation on these muffs 3 stars due to the fact that they greatly reduce noise, not cancel it. If noise was cancelled, this would be a safety risk. For a 12 hour shift, these muffs are super comfortable and actually aid with holding my hard hat on my head. With this being said, in warmer weather you will perspire more with these. I definitely never put these muffs up on my hardhat as it makes the hat too top heavy and unstable. When I don't need the muffs, I kick the springs out so they still hang down and away from my ears. All in all these are a great buy. I highly recommend!

These will not work with a full brim hard hat, as in most MSA hardhats that you’ll get on wind or solar projects this will not work. LUCKILY for those of you who have a normal MSA hardhat, the swivel mounts on the side of the earmuffs will also fit the same behind the ear adapter as other models. As I had some older ones laying around, switching them out makes it work perfectly, however they will function a little different as they’re not attached to your hard hat as the product is sold. Keep in mind these are meant to be mounted, so if you’re using this method to make them work with a bigger hard hat, the weight from these and extra width and be a little awkward if you don’t have them SITUATED. Also given that they’re gonna have different amounts of pressure applied to your head, this could potentially change its effectiveness but I have not noticed. + I may already have hearing damage lol

I work daily in industrial environments. These install easy, fit perfectly on standard hard hats, and are excellent at reducing sound ingress. During extended use over several hours, the tight seal around the ear can cause safety glasses discomfort above the ear. However, that’s an acceptable trade-off for long term hearing protection. My first set of 3M Ear Muffs lasted about 7 years before the foam covers cracked and peeled. That’s about 13500 hours of use in rough environments. In my book, that’s excellent value.

New vacuum equipment installed at work directly across from work line. Was already using 24 dbm rated earmuffs and that was bad. Had to start using earplugs at same time. That got annoying, so I ordered this. They perform better than previous, but the nature of how the equipment was set up is still aggravating. So it does work, but it is not outstanding by any means. That been said, for price/performance point of view, I would had purchased this as my primary earmuffs 5 years ago instead of a 24 dbm rated one, something to consider, as most of them are priced about the same regardless of their protection rating.

I’m 67 and have some hearing loss, so I am very protective of my ears. I bought these Ear Muffs to wear with my hard hat that I bought from Harbor Freight. The sound reduction is great! I barely hear the rumbling of my chain saw. They are quite comfortable, too.

First thing out of the box you notice the build quality. I chose these because they have the best sound protection rating available for attaching to hard hats and 3M Peltor has succeeded at that. They seem to hold up very well to abuse. I have the traditional strap overhead design of these also and have put them through the wringer, with no damage. While these do function correctly, if you aren't wearing them and have them folded up top on your lid, the weight on the rear of the hard hat is very noticeable and bulky feeling. The physical footprint size is very large and is can interfere if trying to fit head up between joists etc. Again, good quality product that reduces noise better than any other I've found, but would love to see this slimmed down both in weight and size.

I have had alot of different hearing protection and theses headphone are by far the quietest and best built I have come across to date!

Good for loud and noisy environment.

I work in an offshore oil and gas production platform. I’ve been using a lot of different brands of ear muffs but the level of sound protection this one provides is by far the best I’ve used till date. I can hear the sound of my walkie-talkie clearly while wearing these while it filters out most of the machinery noise. Totally worth its price.

Las fotos se las debo en 2 semanas las subo. Las orejeras son fantásticas, son un poco grandes pero funcionan estupendo. Estoy en un area con 9 turbinas de las cuales almenos 6 se mantienen encendidas y cada que subo ya es soportable el ruido... Son fantasticas, si hay mucho ruido donde trabajas compralas son las mejores, mucho mas que las 95 y las 105 de 3m. Si tu lugar de trabajo no es tan ruidoso, creo que deberias evaluar el tamaño y comprar unas un poco mas pequeñas. Ademas quedaron super bien con mi casco.

Excelente nivel de cancelación de ruido, bastante cómodos para llevarlos varias horas al día, excelente ajuste a los oídos y buen ajuste al casco
