Cheap but Effective
I want to preface by saying I modified this to turn it into a lamp, rather than a garden light like it technically was before. The light itself was left untouched. I got this light for my fish tank, in hopes it might be strong enough to keep them alive and healthy. I chose this light specifically, due to the review which mentioned it accidentally scorched their plant. If it’s strong enough to do that, it should be able to go through water right? I have a small 1 gallon aquarium with a few different plants (including a patch of moss harvested from a brick in my back yard,) and two snails (a nerite and a purple mystery.) I chose specifically low-light plants because what I plan to put in the tank prefers to be in the dark, so I didn’t want anything that would require a high amount of light. The adjustability of this light is perfect, because I can adjust it to what the plants are happy with, while knowing it can go higher if I ever need it to. So, the modifications. These are really simple: I got an 8” wooden disk (about 3/4” in thickness) and drilled a hole the size of the metal rod that came with the light, after the stake piece had been removed. I then sanded the rod and epoxied it to the wooden base, turning this into a proper lamp, with a base that my tank can sit on. The metal rod is fairly cheap, it feels like it would be easily dented, and the light pops off of it easily which is great if you want to switch the pole out, but not so great when you want to adjust the height the light is sitting at. It does have a collar that I think is supposed to lock it into place, but it doesn’t help, the light still pops off. For now I’m just being conscious to pull the pole instead of the light to adjust how tall it is, but once I decide if I’m going to swap the pole out, I’ll be epoxying the light in place so it’s easier to adjust. Very minor gripes overall. As for the light, the only thing I would change is to have a light mode that makes red leaves pop. Some aquarium lights have this but they’re ridiculously expensive. This light does have a warm setting, but I rarely use it. Either it’s full spectrum, or red/blue when I have it on. I would also like the cord to be just a foot longer, but other than that, I’m really happy with it, and the timer works perfectly. I’ve had this for a few months now and it’s still going strong. In fact, when I bought this light, I had separated my plants into two batches. I ordered each plant at the same time and split them. Half went into the tank, and the other half went in my window. I wanted to see if the lights were actually doing anything or if the sunlight is better. Surprisingly, the plants in the window kept dying, but the plants under this light have been thriving! The two little yellow plants were plants that I moved into the tank after I noticed how poorly they’d been with sunlight. They’re supposed to be green and purple or red, and they very clearly are not. You can see the difference with them next to the spring green of the plants that have been in the tank the whole time! It will be interesting to see if they spring back or if they’re too far gone. If these lights can save them, then I’m more sold than I already was. There isn’t much else to say. This is a really good light at a great price, and I will definitely be ordering again when I need more lights for my plants and tanks!

Best bang for buck
Amazing for adding needed light to dark spaces, and the best value I've found. Especially, if you can get them while on a deal or discount. I've been able to add plants to areas of my house, where normally they would have died from lack of light. I've bought 7 over the last yr to supplement lighting needs for 40+ houseplants, that range in age from freshly potted props to 15+ yrs of my care. -12 blue, 12 red, and 24 white LEDs. -Inline control switch on power cord, that plugs into a USB-C plug(think of a power block for a cell phone). Pros: -Have plants putting off new, moderate growth, even a blooming orchid, in areas that recieve almost no natural light. -More red and blue diodes than some bigger size halo lights. -Won't notice on electric bill, 5(?)watts -Can easily switch them around or adjust height/angle. Cons: -When putting the light head on the telescopic metal rod, make sure you hold onto the specific section of metal that is going into the plastic head or it could be pushed into the next section and is a pain to get back out. (Fooled me once, now I'm a pro, haha) -The power block is cheap. 5 have worked right since day one, 1 quit after 3/4 months(replaced it with another cheap dollar store one), 1 didn't work on arrival but was easily returned and replaced. The next one is a Pro and a very slight Con: -I stick the pole between the dirt and pot to not disturb roots. It tends to lean a lil' when the dirt is drier, but it's also my indicator to check them. Overall, I am super happy with these, and plan to buy more.

Good, Cheap Light
Not sure what I was expecting for $7 for a 2 pack but here we are, making the best of it. It’s a tiny light, probably the size of an orange, and has 3 color selections. Comes on a telescope style pole so you’re able to adjust the height. This is ideal for small house plants. As you can see in my photo, I have plants on the larger side, so the light doesn’t do much because I can only really point the light on the plant legs/under the leaves. If you have leafy, palm like trees, they’ll be too large for this size light. If you have small plants, grab this 2 pack because it’s worth it. Can’t speak on how long they’ll last as I’ve only had them a little over a month+, but doesn’t really seem to be any reason they’d break. They’re cheap, but you aren’t touching them often so it works. No flickering issues at all.

Long Life Span
I purchased this grow light in November 2022 and it just now stopped working. That's pretty impressive for the price it's listed at. Would recommend.

I like these, but can't figure out the timer, I don't understand timer or colord
I wanted to ask you all a question, but didn't find it, so I'm showing pictures of every light with no lamp, and lamp. Purple is way too purple, green is way to green, white is just right.. Dark corner, but have a Philodendron growing towards the lamp, not the window..? So I wanted to give these more light and make a spotlight cause they're so damn pretty. So u look at the pictures, i use green and/purple when the lights on, but there should be a bloom spectrum, grow spectrum, but what's what and how do I find out how to use the damn timer! It's up to you the color, I'm just giving it more light and a spotlight to show it off. I don't understand timer, and which color for just growing? As you can see Ines lime green, very pretty, but green makes it look greener, my other ones I switch to purple at night, but I don't know what I'm doing!! This is harder and I had 40 plants back then! What am I doing! I took better pics, mine I deleted, had a weird white thing's all around it..weird. But it is green, it doest show my colors of lime green n dark green plants, then purple..? And I like regular light. Ironically I have a phidendron the same table, doesn't grow towards the window, grows towards the lamp. And loves it! Odd, so I got these pothos 4 pack from Costa farm's, are 5 inch pots, huge! So in 8 inch pot lime green and " Swiss cheese" I call ot cut leaf but it's dark green looks so good with my the light directly over my plant's! It's like, look! Beautiful! I love these I got more, a halo on sale with just bright light. But timer still confuses me, I guess I have to turn the timer on at 7am to get it to turn off at 9pm? And someone please tell me whats the difference in light color! White light is best. Seller..please explain..I understand bloom lights, but browing I used florescent lights, 8 tube lights in my grow room. Even had cactus seed grow! How cute so small! I'm getting more..I'm addicted..

Nice lights, but flimsy
They are nice lights, on the smaller side so they're better suited for either a smaller grouping of plants or just one individual plant. I had ordered 2 & only received one. I submitted my request for a replacement since I didn't receive my second one (through the automated system through Amazon). It was followed with an automated response email stating I needed to return one or be charged, hoping I don't get charged, but we will see. The second one arrived rather quickly, and when I was assembling it, the nub where you attach the pole broke off, so I cannot attach the stand. It's honestly not really worth the hassle of having them replace it again, so I'll find a way to make it work. They are nice lights, and the timers & light selection work, just be extremely careful when putting it together.

My plants LOVE this light (and so do I!) it is reliable and the timer is helpful
I’ve had this item for about two months now and have two of them and I’m very pleased with the purchase. It’s a small convenient grow light and it is easy to adjust. Additionally, when you adjust it it doesn’t just slide back down. It stays where it’s supposed to. The timer feature is my favorite option. It kicks on like clockwork and has a few different modes. One may even say this light works too well because at the rate that my one plant is growing under it, I might need to end up purchasing a taller light in a couple months! This has nothing to do with the seller, but if you are a new plant parent, make sure you don’t have a light like this one shining on YOU all day, it’s great for plants but not good for humans to be directly sitting under the pinkish purple plant lights! I made this mistake for a few years with a different light and had it too close to me at work, it isn’t good for your skin. Again, has nothing specifically to do with the seller, all of them with this color spectrum are like that, I’m just mentioning this to be helpful. Keep it in a corner or on a shelf that isn’t directly next to anything you sit on (while it’s powered on)!

I absolutely LOVE this light!!
I got this light for my little planner in my bedroom, we work night shift so we don’t have any sunlight in our room hardly ever lol and I absolutely LOVE this light. It’s perfect, especially that it dims, and the different types of light. I’ll be setting the timer so that way when we’re asleep during the day, I can set it to turn on at night when we’re up or gone! So my little plant will get exactly what it needs! The timer is perfect for us! It’s super super easy to set up and use! The little telescope stick is perfect for adjusting how tall or short you need it (as you can see I didn’t extend it, but I easily can if I need too!) It’s super sturdy too!
