Great! Works on shorter hair
I have shoulder-length hair and wanted to try this since it looked better than the other type of silky "tube" rollers I see a lot. This is basically like those robe curls you see people doing on videos, well this thing is like the robe re-designed. It's a soft, nice terry material with a little bulk to it. Not slippery like the other kind I tried that didn't work on my fine, straight hair at all. Comes nicely packaged in a pretty box, with hair ties, a hairband, and a clip. Also, instructions. Delivery was prompt. As I said, my hair is shorter, about to my shoulders but this thing worked well and was comfortable to wear too. Since my hair is a bit shorter when you wrap it on the robe, putting the hair ties on required some finger dexterity but I managed. Curls came out nice and bouncy, kinda wavy. Love it. Gives my fine hair some life. Totally recommend.

You need this heatless curler!
After trying a few heatless curlers this is the one I will always use! It is so easy to put in your hair & gives such a gorgeous curl. Being a girl with thin hair itโs tough to ever keep a curl, so I love the fact that I can put this in my hair with minimal time & simply sleep on it to get curls. Also with the velvety softness it is much more comfortable to sleep than some of the other curlers out there.I highly recommend!

It Works!
I have thick, long hair. I do not like using lots of heat on my hair in order to curl it. This solves the problem. Since my hair is so thick, the curler is not comfortable to sleep in; but just leaving it on a few hours works well with my hair. If you have lots of frizzy curl, it tames the curl. If you have long layers, it works extremely well. When I curl my hair with this curler, I do not have to "re-curl" my hair since it lasts for several days. It is much better than a curling iron. The only problem I have with this product is that it could be longer. I have to tie a couple of bandanas to each end in order to tie it well. If you don't have thick hair, you probably won't have this problem.

Patience is a Virtue
The concept of these types products seems ridiculously easy. Watch the video, secure the roller with the clip, roll up the hair, tie the tie at the top of your head, put the headband on, and voila, wavy hair in the morning. This actually takes patience and practice and you must have good manual dexterity. I gave up using the included clip because it was too big for the top of my head and would move around while I rolled my hair. I ended up using other types of clips, one on each side, so the roller would stay in place while I wound my hair. I have yet to be able to evenly tie it - one side is always longer than the other, sometimes by quite a lot, even though I secured it to my head evenly. The headband is a godsend for using at night. That, too, I clipped to the tie so it would stay in place while I slept. The waves and curls do look nice once unrolled. Instead of plain water to spray on as suggested, I used a volumizer, which worked nicely, too. Would I recommend this? Maybe. If I ever fully get the hang of using it. And will update my review accordingly.

Takes a little while to get the hang of but it is SO worth it.
I RARELY write reviews for products because I am incredibly picky and I don't feel compelled to- it takes a lot for a product to live up to a hight ranking in my book. I will say that this did take a little practice to get used to but it is really really worth it once you do get the hang of it. Here is a bit about me and my tips:I have incredibly thick, long hair- (all of my hairstylists have to take extra time to dry my hair and they are ALWAYS shocked at how long it takes to dry) it takes me about 15-20 minutes to get my hair completely dry before I can style it. I have 2 small children so I don't have time in the morning to get up and do my hair, I shower and blow-dry my hair at night and I needed something that would allow me to fall asleep and wake up with great curls. This product delivers. I told myself that for the price I would give it a try and go from there. It took me about 5 different times to really figure out how to make this work for my hair. It will take practice but don't give up! I dry my hair with either the blow-dryer or air dry it and then when it's about 75% dry I put the curler in. In the morning I take it out and I use a little mister spray to help undo any funky parts from where I have tied it. Also, because I have bangs and layers in the front, I tend to take a clip and gather my hair in the back for a little half up/half down look- this helps to relax the curls that are tighter in the front so that by the time I'm ready to walk out the door, it looks great. I also find that the next day my hair looks even better... the curls are looser and look more "lived-in" and relaxed. I love it!!I find that both of the hair ties that it comes with are great but the thinner ones are a bit more comfortable for sleeping. Also I am certain that because my hair is so long (past my boobs) that I would probably benefit from a longer curler but for now it does the job so I am going to keep using it.The product has been well constructed, it is incredibly soft and after a month of use it has held up really well... stop looking at all the different heatless hair curlers! This one is it!

Love it!
Takes a few times to get the hang of it! So donโt judge the first try, Iโm not naturally great with doing my hair. But as a mother, I love the convenience of this. I can put my hair up in this at night and my hair looks great in the morning. If my hair is dry I just go in with a spray bottle of water or leave in conditioner. I have fine, long hair so I havenโt been able to get this to last for several days which is what Iโd really like but maybe I need to do it when my hair isnโt freshly washed. It isnโt terrible to sleep in. I love that I can wrap it up and get the hair off my neck when Iโm sleeping compared to others that donโt. I do recommend this to anyone!

Curls for DAYSSS
I love this product. Usually when I use it, itโs overnight and the curls come out super tight and last for days. I used it for a friendโs wedding and left it in for over 12 hours and the curls lasted through the whole night of running around getting things for the bride, dancing, and well into the next day. Another time I used this for an hour and a half on the way to another event and the curls still came out super tight. I hated curling my hair with a straightener or curling iron because my hair is super thick and usually it would take me well over an hour. This takes me five minutes, is very comfortable, and the curls last longer than when Iโve used anything else. I wet my brush, comb it through my hair, then use a small amount of castor oil on the ends of my hair and pat down fly always before using this product. Works every time.

Buy the more expensive versions of this! You get what you pay for!!
This thing felt weird. The long black part was lumpy. I had to actually cut it open to find out why it felt so... wrong. I found some white "stuffing" and it was all bunched up. The clip does NOT get any kind of a grip. The minute i started trying to wrap my hair around the.. long lumpy black thing, it would come off of my head. I tried so hard to make it work. I really did. So..i finally got everything wrapped and tied and tucked.. then came the bandau head wrap- thing... it just didn't look or fit like it did in the video. I'm fact.. NOTHING WORKED OR LOOKED LIKE IT DID IN THE VIDEO. I went to bed with so much crap on my head, I looked like Ertha Kitt (Google Her... she's famous for wearing Turbans)... When morning came and I was supposed to just unwrap, shake my head and all see all those beautiful, loose, sexy wavy hair... well.. let me tell you IT WAS NOTHING LIKE THAT AT ALL. It started going wrong. The big black head wrap thing was down around my neck. When i tried to untie the long black hanging curl wrapper thingy...I couldn't untie it. I was freaking out. I thought i was going to have to cut my hair to get it off of me! I tried and tried and started sweating and panicking. I slowed down and sat down and started going one strand of hair at a time until it was all just hanging still wrapped around the long black thing. Then i had to remove those elastic bands I secured my wrapped hair with. This turned into another battle. My head started hurting and i was just a mess. I looked like a crazy person. My hair was so freaking messed up, it was a nightmare! The more i tried to get those elastic things un-wound, the more tangled my hair became! I couldn't get any help, I live alone in the country. I was screwed! I was gong to have to get my hair unwrapped in the most painful ways... pullingv out one strand at a time. The video showed a girl just grabbing the top of her head and gently shaking her hair out and i would see these long, luxurious, strands of my hair looking like i just stepped out of a salon. My hair did NOT LOOK WAVY OR SEXY! It looked like i stuck my finger into a light socket,,rdรฐ nto that long black nightmare thing. That NEVER CAME CLOSE TO HAPPENING! After about 45 minutes i got into my car and drove to my friend's house so she could help me untangle this nightmare AND to keep me from taking the scissors and cutting all my god damn hair off!!. This is one of the worst things I've ever or me or my hair through! Rip up some rags and wrap your hair the is fashioned way or buy a more expensive set. You TRULY DO GET WHAT PAY FOR! This is the way women wrapped/ curled their hair hundreds and hundreds of years ago. It's a great way to make soft waves in your hair. Mine didn't work right probably because the stuffing was messed up? I don't know. Just don't buy this... it's NOTHING like the advertising video. They can make ANYTHING look good ๐

Looks ridiculous, but works like a charm!
I was hesitant to try out this velour heatless curler as the satin or silk ones seem to be all the rage, but I'm glad I took the plunge - it's AWESOME! It's way more comfortable to sleep in than others with a wire rod in them. Even though you look completely ridiculous going to bed, you wake up with beautiful curls!

Itchy and not especially effective
I was really disappointed with this. The fabric is really scratchy and not comfortable at all. And it only waved part of my hair. I wouldnโt recommend it.

Worked amazing on my hair
So I had seen many of these but when I watched the video posted on this page I was sold on trying this one and it did not disappoint. My hair always does well with air drying. I do have a mild natural curl, and I found if your hair is not super clean, I know that sounds weird but like a day or two with product in it dry and then brush it out, section it and do a tight wrap With just a little bit of water mist and pulled through the hair. It came out amazing.
