Excellent device
This device is extremely well made. It is heavy and the parts are precisely machined. All stainless steel, except perhaps the cutter blade which seems like high-carbon steel as it should be. It works well. I ground sirloin steak that was slightly frozen and cut into strips as advised in the instructions. At the end there was a little unground meat on the screw so I put some already ground meat in the hopper and turned the handle to push the last bit through. I had a little difficulty removing the handle when I was finished. Next time I'll be sure to note which way to turn it to remove it. After taking it apart I was able to poke all the meat out of it using a chop stick. I don't really plan on making sausages and I haven't used that attachment.

Heavy Duty-Well Made-Easy To Assemble & Safe
I watched a few videos before I assembled it, then put it together. There were some plastic pieces that weren't covered in the video and proved not useful in the use of the grinder. It did a very good job grinding shoulder steak and my cat liked the meat after I gave her some. Works very well. The holes of the grinding plates need to be cleared with a chopstick. I like this and will look for meat on sale and make my own ground beef. I think it is the best and safest version available with no worries of any injury. Great for all who don't want any electrical device. Easy to clean. A must have for pet owners who want their pets to eat real food, not processed with freezing or drying, or cooking for that matter.I'm thinking it could also be used for making hash browns!

Good value for money
It’s sturdy for sure and easy to operate. The handle is stuck and now I can’t detach it for cleaning and store away.

Heavy solid stainless works great.
This is serious grinding equipment for beef and a few vegetables mixed in to make ground hamburger. Mount it to a solid table and grind your meat, celery, onion whatever. Some meat leaks around the die plate probably could use a gasket to seal it. Four edge cutting blades are very strong and sharp and produce very well ground meat. Long crank is easy to turn if clamped to a strong table or countertop. You don't need a motor, watch your fingers!

Keep track of the feet
Works good, but the rubber feet come off VERY easily. I lost one during the washing process and spent a few minutes agonizing over whether I had ground it with my pork (I realized that I could have confused it with a piece of the fat cap). Thankfully I found it after a suddenly frantic search. I might use it without the feet just to be safe. It's also worth pointing out that tables with narrow lips might have some trouble, because there isn't a lot of space between the clamp head and the arm that secures it to the body of the grinder (at least with the #10 version). You could probably file down the head to make it fit, though, since it's just plastic.

simple, strong, and well made
Made quick work of my deer. Very nice device. Love how solid and thick all the pieces are; should last me a long time! I find that it works best when you grind the meat and fat once to break things down, then grind everything a second time to really get the fat mixed in well with the meat. It will get gummed up maybe 6 times while working through a whole deer, but I think that's too be expected with any hand grinder. Excellent craftmanship.

Can’t replace necessary parts, as far as I can tell.
I would love to update this to be 5 stars — because the grinder is great. The 1 star rating is from not being able to find a replacement plastic piece that goes inside the grinder (connecting the grinder to the handle). That piece (circled in blue in the picture attached) was accidentally thrown away and now I no longer have a useable grinder since I can’t find a replacement or a way to contact the seller. If the seller can help me get this little plastic replacement piece, I would love to update this to 5 stars :)
