I have a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator that constantly left water on the floor, and the bottom freezer drawer would fill with water and freeze in place. After some research, I found this drain evaporator clip and gave it a try. Installation was simple — honestly, it took far longer to fully defrost the freezer so I could remove the bottom drawer than it did to actually install the part. Once everything was thawed, the clip went in easily. It’s been about two months now, and I haven’t had a single issue since. No more water pooling, no more frozen drawer. For such an inexpensive part, it solved a problem that had been driving me crazy. Maybe Samsung should buy some. Highly recommend.

These sat around for some time until I finally installed one in my refrigerator. Wish I would have done it sooner. It takes some time to defrost everything to the point you can remove the parts needed to access the area where this installs, but installation was really easy. It has been a few months and no more freezing / water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator. This was a very cheap solution, and easy DIY project, to solve a very annoying issue. Highly recommend it.

Easy to install, hardest part was taking everything out of the fridge to get the back panel off. Thhis clip has so far (3 months) kept the drain hole from freezing up. No more water collecting in the drawers! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was it has only been 3 months. If it's still working the same after a full year then 5 stars for sure. I expect it to.

This is a great little improvement for Samsung refrigerators to keep the Fresh Food defrost line from getting blocked with ice. I bought the two pack just in case I mangled one during install. There is a fitment problem with this product. The taper on the tang, that goes down the drain line, is too wide. It would not go far enough down the line to be able to clip it onto the the the defrosting line. I had to grind the tang down to about 50% of the width and with a lower taper angle before it would sit in place correctly. I used a Dremel tool and diamond disc to grind it down. I had to wait a few times for it to cool down from the heat of friction from the grinding and I had to check for fit multiple times along the way before I got it down to an acceptable geometry. I installed this on a Samsung DualZone RF260BEAEWW/AA MFG DATE 12/2013

Not easy to install. But no ice blocking the drain now. This evaporator is a couple of inches longer than the original one.

This was the perfect part for a Samsung fridge repair. Samsung model RB194ABWP. This part effectively prevents the condensate from freezing as it drains into the tube that leads away from the bottom of the coil. Without this part the condensate can freeze and cause the coil to ice up, choking the fridge. Needle nose pliers are needed to wrap the legs of the clip around the coil.
