Great value, good selection.
These things are amazingWorks fantastic.I was able to over lap the wires and solder them first. They shrink really well and seal up the connections.

Don't blame the product for user error
The media could not be loaded. I think the reviews complaining about these connectors are not using them correctly. They worked perfect for me.They have a strong hold better than crimping, an airtight seal, and if you use the proper size for the wire you're working with they shrink to a glove tight snug. I've had zero problems with connectivity on any of my projects. These are not regular heat shrink tubes. You can't use a lighter or a torch. A lighter won't melt the solder, and a torch will melt the tubing and your wire before it melts the solder.I used a heat gun I got off of Amazon for $20. It has two heat settings, and a reflector on it so the entire tube was heatedly evenly in seconds. Spend just a few extra seconds around the solder ring.Don't immediately try to pull on the connection. Of course it's going to come apart while it's still curing. These are made to withstand shaking and movement, not heavy weight pulling. No one is going to come and tug on your wires to pull them apart. All that aside, I absolutely recommend these shrink tubes to anyone who's doing at least minor automotive electrical wiring. I installed a dash cam, aftermarket radio, and rear view cam into my car using these and they have held up perfect.Short of it is, don't blame the product for human error.

Great wire connectors, fast and secure
Easy to use with a heat gun. The solder melts evenly and seals tight. Perfect for automotive and electrical repairs. Solid kit!

Solder First
These seem pretty good, but I found that soldering first creates a much stronger mechanical connection. I used a soldering iron to tin the ends, then soldered them together. No twisting the wires. Then I slid and centered the connector over the joint and used a heat gun to shrink each end of the connector. I found that shrinking the connector ends first, then applying heat to the middle worked best. By soldering first, the joint was mechanically very strong. Without soldering, the joint could be pulled apart with very little effort. The connector comes with some type of low melting point metal that will create good electrical contact, but it does not seem to mechanically bond to copper conductors. As far as whether these are waterproof, we'll see. They seem like they will work well in wet applications, but until I see how they perform over time, I'll reserve judgement. I will be using these to connect sprinkler system control valves to the control wires. One of my control valve boxes almost always has standing water, so it will be a good test.

Absolutely love these things.
Can't say enough about these other than wow. I will buy nothing else, a heat shrink with solder. I was skeptical at first but these things are amazing. Strip your wires slide them into these connectors. Add a little heat, the solder melts the wires are connected and water tight. No crimping necessary. And they are solid

Very happy wire splicer
Ever use soldier and heat shrink? Tried holding two wires while soldering them? Forget all the pain with these things, these things are a dream, they help hold the wires together and solder and heat shrink at the same time. Did I mention how great they work.

Box of dud connectors
I've used this product in the past and liked how easy it is to make a reliable strong and water proof join, but I order a new pack and have had a terrible time getting the solder to flow that I come to expect it to. I not sure if this is a one off, but I have no correspondence from the seller on my issue.Be aware the connection may test good but my not last long. Again I'm assuming I got unlucky with a bad batch.
