We have been looking for a pair of small, lightweight (color temperature adjustable) lights to provide backlighting for our portrait taking. At first, we almost dismissed these as too big, because the online photos show them as larger than reality. Check the dimensions, these are about the size of a 4x6 photo - quite small. The lumens count is also lower as a result. But, for what we needed, they are perfect. We did test them as primary lighting for portraits, and are really not sufficient. They may work well for headshot lighting or for video conferencing for an individual.Pros: Small, Lightweight, inexpensive, tripods are included, adjustable temperature, and 11 brightness settings.Cons: Small, not very bright, the cords are too short (we purchased two 10 foot USB male to female extension cables to fix this problem), and every time you power them on, they return to a default setting (not the one you just used), and no carrying case.Overall, understand what the product is, and for those applications, it is a great product and an excellent value.

I bought these for a small green-screen studio I use for client presentations. I just wanted to brighten myself up a bit to make my videos sharper. These do indeed work for that, but I have to tweak the same settings for each lamp each time I turn them on (they don't retain previous configurations).Also, this is a set of two, and while both are pretty flimsy and lightweight (i.e. cheap), one of them one of them has a set-screw knob that doesn't do anything. Unfortunately, it's the one that holds the lamp head steady. The slightest bump or even the breeze from the A/C spins the lamp up to 90 degrees left or right on the stand.I shouldn't have to put a piece of tape on the swivel to keep the lamp head still. And since the configuration settings (brightness, etc.) are not stored, even a slight touch of the buttons on the cord disturbs the position of the lighting.You get what you pay for, I suppose, and I'm cheap by nature, so I just kept them and adjusted my expectations and routine behavior. If I had it to do over again, I'd most likely order different lamps.Hope this helps.

Works great no problem

Can say for a videos of Letsplays, Reviews, etc and Streaming on popluar social media like Youtube and Twitch helps out great for a starting/advance content creator as mentioned. Only downside to it can't keep the settings that you had before since shut off goes back to default even if you wanted way you had it. Just bit annoying but gets the job done!
