Fun toy for imaginative play
My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves her Dora kitchen! There's so much to do, and the recipe cards add a twist of fun, although it'd be nice if there were move of them (there are only three, double-sided). What there are a lot of are toy foods, utensils, and dinnerware. All seem high quality and as long as they don't end up all over the house, they make for a lot of variety in game play. The quality of the toy overall is high, although the oven door doesn't quite close securely. I had to bend the plastic a bit and now it's ok, but not perfect.

cool kitchen
This is a fun kitchen that both my 4-yr-old daughter and 2-yr-old son love playing with. It has a "radio" that my son likes to dance to, a blender that makes noise, and a "phone" that they both enjoy talking on. The talking recipe card feature is a bit silly, neither one of them play with it. Overall, it's a good play kitchen, complete with fridge, stove, food, frying pan, etc. It was easy to assemble and it's light weight enough to move easily to another room. Actually, my son pulls it over on himself for fun, but it's not a problem... I bought mine "new", but the box looked like it had been opened. It had one very minor defect in the assembly which does not affect the looks or functionality. I recommend it for Dora fans and cooking fans age 1 - 5.

Really almost $500.00
What the heck if anyone is interested I have a bridge for sale too. I just can't believe that some people bought this with shipping for almost $500.00USD I bought one from a garage sale in pretty good condition for $30 and kind feel ripped off. It's a piece of plastic people with sound boxes. I mean if it really did have a touch screen computer in it maybe but that would be a stretch. Hope no one else falls for this.

Excellent product!!!
I bought the Dora Talking Kitchen for my 2 year old niece and she loves it! She is very inquisitive and enjoys helping in the kitchen. On Christmas morning, when she opened it, if you could only see the look on her face. She was so excited! She immediately began to play with it. Her favorite things on the Dora Talking Kitchen is the blender and the phone. I recommend this product to anyone who has a child who loves to use their imagination. This product will keep them busy for hours on end.

Nice looking and relatively sturdy, not too many features
Bought this for Christmas. It's easy to put together in about half an hour and is relatively sturdy. The only downside here i feel is the Dora "extension" because it takes a lot of space but and does not do much. While I don't think it's any different than the other play kitchens my kids lost basically interest for it after 2 days. It has a limited set of features and tones/voices. It might be a bit overpriced given the Dora feature but on the other hand that's probably what it makes appealing to kids.

Happiness & fun for two-year-old boy
Our grandson's eyes lit up when he saw this on his second birthday, and he has played with it every day since. (It's the only toy he wouldn't share with his fellow toddlers at his birthday party.) He isn't quite tall enough to pull the phone out when it's firmly in its holder, but when someone else helps with that, he loves to hear who's calling. It's true that it takes an extra push to make the refrigerator door stay shut, but that doesn't really matter. The open back isn't a problem either. We were afraid the oven door might break off if he used it to sit or climb on, but that hasn't happened. Assembly was quite straightforward and pretty quick. Two of us worked together, which was helpful in keeping the screw-holes lined up. All in all, a good buy.

Not Worth the Money....
We ordered this for our 4 year old for Christmas. When she first saw it set up in front of the tree she was thrilled. Upon trying to play with it, she was bored within moments. The quality is mediocre at best, the door falls open, no back on the set at all so the accessories fall out the back. The recipe cards are not entertaining, and it is limited in what this does. For the $65 we paid for this (amazing how it is cheaper after Christmas), is totally not worth it. I wish I had not thrown away the box, because I would have for sure returned it. My daughter plays with it only if passing it and it catches her eye. The cooking pieces are more entertaining than the whole kitchen. Would not recommend this to anyone over the age of 2. Very disappointed in this piece.

Great brain food!
We got the Dora Talking Kitchen for our granddaughter's turning-three birthday. Needless to say, she LOVES it! The variety of the recipes and the sound effects are not too repetitive, so it's a new experience every time she plays with it. It's sturdy enough for our brute of a 14 month-old grandson, too! It's a nice springboard for her and her friends & cousins (ages 14 months to 7 yrs)in creative & imaginative play; it appears to be designed for children to actually use their own minds(grow that brain!)rather than follow a rote script, I appreciate the heck out of that....and the kids ALL have a BLAST!
