I absolutely love this Amazon Basics Concentrated Laundry Detergent. The biggest thing I noticed is how little you need to use—just a small capful, about a quarter of what I would normally use with regular detergent. Because it’s concentrated, the bottle lasts a long time, which makes it an excellent value for the money. The scent is fresh and pleasant without being overpowering. My husband is a landscaper, so his clothes come home with tough dirt, sweat, and strong odors. We’ve tried a lot of detergents over the years, and not many can handle that kind of laundry. This detergent works like a charm! His clothes come out clean and smelling great every time. If you’re looking for a detergent that lasts, cleans well, smells good, and saves money, I highly recommend giving this one a try.

This is an amazing bang for your buck, works just as good as tide only better!! And the price tag is so much better ! At first, I tried to say it wasn’t gonna arrive for a month, but they shipped it out then hours of purchase and I ended up receiving it three days later zero good you use a third of what you would use of tide of this Amazon basics because of how highly concentrated it is and it’s super easy to use. This is my new go to laundry detergent. I don’t think I’m gonna go back to tide or arm and Hammer! This blew every other laundry detergent out of the water, not just the cleanliness but the scent is amazing not too harsh not too little but just perfect anytime I’ve ordered Tide or the arm and hammer laundry detergent. It’s always leaked but Amazon basics did not leak whatsoever and it was sideways in the box. Try with the Amazon basics fabric sheets as well because those are also amazing and you’ll love the fact that you can see tons of money on this product! Again a little goes a long way so the size of this bottle will last quite some time ! Zero mess !

This detergent gets my clothes clean for a good price point. The only bad thing is that the cap spins the entire pour spout when I go to open the detergent, so I always have to use 2 hands, one to hold the base of the spout area tight, and one to try and open the lid. If they fixed that issue, I would give it 5 stars. It is super concentrated, I have the green bottle brand of detergent as well, and I noticed how much more 'watery' that one is compared to this. I am new to the no dyes or fragrance world of laundry, so I still have a mental block on my clothes feeling clean to me when I can't smell any clean scent on them, but that is just me. Every stain I had came out, I used a little of it directly on a taco meat stain on a shirt, and when I pulled it out of the washer, it was gone! Edit- I bought a different bottle and the pouring spout doesn't spin, BUT I still have a hard time getting the lid off, this bottle is scented so the liquid is blue, not clear, but again still super concentrated. Amazon- fix the lid issue already plz!!!!

Super concentrated , about half the amount of product compared to the “green” brand name liquid not much of a scent and I think my clothes feel a bit softer and brighter well worth the price and lower then the big name brand -will get lots of wash done at half the price recommend Amazon basics !!!

This detergent was just okay for me. I didn’t hate it, but I won’t be repurchasing it. For everyday lightly soiled clothes, it may work fine, but it struggled with heavily soiled work clothes. My husband is a heavy machine operator, and after one wash, his clothes smelled pretty much the same as they did before. I ended up washing them a second time to feel like they were actually clean. If you’re washing heavily dirty or odor-prone clothing, I would probably look for a stronger detergent

I was searching for an affordable alternative to the overpriced name brand detergents I’ve used for years. Anyway I can cut down on my overall spending I am here for it. The detergent is very concentrated and it lasts a long time. It only takes a small amount to wash a medium to large load. I purchased the clean linen scent in the 110 loaf container. The scent is subtle and not at all overwhelming. I do love for my laundry to smell good, but not similar to chemicals or unnatural smells. It’s a lovely smell that’s clean and natural. I did find the detergent is able to tackle stain well. I haven’t really put it to the test yet against stains a like grease, oils or food. However, I will come across those stains eventually and we shall see how it performs. I was able to launder a sweatshirt that had some grease splatter from bacon on it. I did follow the recommendations and washed the shirt in warm water rather than cold. It came out clean and removed all of the bacon grease splatter. I was impressed. The detergent is a good deal in regard to overall quality, price, performance and scent. If you’re also looking for a detergent that’s less expensive and more environmentally friendly this is the one. It comes in a few other scents as well as an unscented one.

Best detergent I have ever used, hands down. Amazing price point as well. Be SUPER sure you are following the amount it says to use, if you use too much (like my husband tries to), it will make your clothes stinky and have a residue. If you use what they recommend (a little over half cap) it's perfect and smells come out smelling fresh and feeling clean. Not overwhelming smell either, just a nice subtle clean smell.
