My hands are very oil, and it always leave oil mark on the keyboards. I always use a cover to protect the keys so the laptop can hold its value. This keyboard cover from DHZ are best in its kind. People with 1 star reviews popular do not use a keyboard cover before. Of course, it will not feel like original because it has a cover. I love it. It perfectly fits and covers my keyboard, and it sticks on, doesn't slide off. Although it's cheaper than a lot of other highly rated keyboard covers, I think the quality is great. It's clear and you can see the backlighting, but a plus is that it gives my keyboard a really cool, almost metallic look to it.The one at Apple costs around $25 and I cannot justify spending that much. For less than $8 you can get pretty much the same thing. I highly recommend this, it will protect your keyboard and keep it free of dirt. Not much to say beyond that, other than advising that people carefully read their selection to make sure they're getting the correct one. I have the Macbook Pro with no touch bar (A1708) and it covers the top function keys.

It’s beautiful when clean. Love the minimalist look of having a transparent cover albeit the slight haziness when looking at it from an angle (top down view is perfect).Con:I’m knocking off a star because of how quickly it gets dirty and discolors. I take great care of my MacBook and never ever use it when my hands are anything but clean. Adding to this, I only use my MacBook a few times a week (it currently has only 12 charge cycles!!). I’ve had this cover for a little over a month now and the key caps have turned very foggy from the natural oils transferred from my hands.Pros:If you don’t mind this, the cover will be great for you. It slightly reduces typing noise and does a good job of protecting the keys. It’s also very comfortable to type on as I have found that silicone covers often get in the way of typing due to the material’s grippiness.I recommend the product overall because it has more pros than cons and shouldn’t break the bank when it comes time to replace it.

The cover is thin, fits well on my new 13" Non-Touchbar MacBook Pro. It covers all keys, including the function keys up top. Visually the cover does change the look of the keyboard significantly. Changes to keyboard feel are minimal; personally I like the feel better with the cover.Two ways the cover changes the look:1) The cover is transparent when looking straight down at keyboard. However when looking at the keyboard at an angle (like when it's in your lap), the keys take on a more muted grey color.2) The covers outlines every key with fairly thick white lines.Others reviewers have posted pictures; check them out before buying. I'm okay with the appearance changes; IMHO the cover is definitely better than 4 stars, maybe not quite 5 stars... Transparency at all reasonable viewing angles would be a full 5 stars.

While I wan’t decent protection for my gadgets, I don’t like overspending on gadget accesories. I bought this at a really good price (in my opinion) and it’s perfect. Fits perfectly on my Macbook pro and does its job of protecting dirt/dust/particles from entering my keyboard. Everyone needs this! Plus, they give you an extra keyboard cover in the box of a different material/texture. While I don’t use the extra, who doesn’t love free stuff!

This keyboard cover works great to keep the cat hair off my computer. I do not understand the cat's insistence on walking across my keyboard but it but was getting quite filthy. This cover is super thin so you barely notice it's there. Normally, I don't like the feeling of keyboard covers but this one doesn't bother me at all. They sent two in the package which I didn't expect. I would definitely buy from them again.

Thank you to the makers of this thing. I feel so much more comfortable using my MacBook around my daughter. It came with 2 different covers which I had no idea. My 6 year old actually saw the 2nd one inside the packaging. One is plain and one is slightly thicker with silver borders that outline the keys. They are both comfortable and feel good as I type. Such a small change to my keyboard, yet one that will guard against debris and save me should liquid cross the keys. I am very happy that I decided to buy this.

I got this after a ramen spill killed my last laptop. I no longer eat or drink around my computer but it fits my keyboard decently. The only thing that’s a little weird is some keys stick unevenly to the cover (see photo) and when I lift up the cover those keys feel kind of oily and have something on them so still needs some cleaning but at least duat isn’t getting between the keys.

Though expensive, it is the keyboard skin that I've not thrown away. There's no compromise in the build quality, It is very thin, stays in place (unless you tilt your laptop at a large angle), very precisely cut and fits like it's not even there. The only drawback I found was it doesn't look very good because it's not completely transparent.
