impossible to clean
In my suburban area, we get wind/dust/thunderstorms storms in the warmer months, which leave fine dirt on the roof, which washes into the gutters. Also, the tiny ceramic granules on my fiberglass composite roof shingles weather-off over time and wash into the gutters. After 2 years, I have to clean the mud/sediment/granules from the gutters.The mud/sediment/granules collect in the foam, and are almost impossible to clean-out. This causes the foam to get clogged, and rain water no longer easily flows through, which means there is water overflow.For my situation, this gutter guard doesn't work. If you have a metal roof and no wind/dust storms in your area, then it may work great for you.
