I have been using this forming cream for about 6 months now. This is, by far, the best forming cream I have ever used. It is easy to work through the hair, and leaves a nice sheen and good hold that lasts through the day--even in the wind. It has great fresh scent that is not overpowering (masculine of course), and is not the least greasy or goopy. You can apply to wet hair for a shinier "wet" look. But once dried, it is very easy to comb through for a "dry hair" look with a nice sheen. Washes out very easy. I use the Billy Jealousy Fuzzy Logic and Cashmere coat--best shampoos I've used. Great product all round

I've used this product for over 10 years since Esquire picked it as the best hair cream on the market. I have pretty straight hair and it can get greasy if I'm not careful. I typically wash my hair every day and use conditioner. After towel drying i use a dap on the end of my finger tip, spread onto my fingers and run thru my hair.Gives mild hold and mild sheen. After the Ruckus and my hair is fully dry I muss is up, add in a touch of Pete and Pedro putty, and hit the bricks. Throughout the day, if I run my hands thru my hair, it goes back into place just like I styled it from moment go. I'm a lifer with this product

I like the old recipe better. It was lighter weight and washed out easily

As a guy I absolutely love this product. It gets the job done quickly and without a lot of fuss or muss. Although I have tried all of Billy Jealousy men’s hair product, it is *this* one that I prefer since it provides just the right amount of “hold” without making your hair look like it has “product” on it. When used properly, you cannot tell that any product is being used. I prefer a “dry look” and this gets the job done.My only minor complaint is that there is a slight/faint scent to it. It’s not objectionable at all… as a guy, I just would have preferred it if there were no scent whatsoever.

This product was a fantastic surprise. I had tried the molding cream by Billy Jealousy, and had found it somewhat lacking for what I had wanted at the moment. I was initially between these 2 products, and decided to revisit this one (and boy am I glad I did). This cream is maybe the easiest thing I've ever applied. Simply running this through damp hair (I like to mist with some leave-in conditioner beforehand) creates a wonderfully sleek appearance with virtually no tug. The shine is subtle, despite what the label says (which is fine by me). The hold is excellent, and really works well with my fine, wavy hair. Finally, the scent is a pleasant clean aroma that is a dead ringer for Irish Spring. Really a extraordinary performer that I look forward to purchasing again!

As my first hair styling product for slicking my hair back, it does not offer a very good hold when put to the test. The wind really blows my hair out of place and the humidity makes it sag. I don't even live in a very windy area or a particularly humid one at that but my hair is not being kept in place. Bear in mind I have pretty fine hair that normally is implacably flat on the top of my head. Slicking it back requires an extreme hold so I'm still looking for the right product. But this cream is decent and it hasa nice smell. I have experienced white specks in my hair on every occasion but my dark black hair is probably the culprit here. Also, I've had to use a nice swoop of the cream instead of the recommended nickle sized amount. I honestly can't see how that could work for anyone.

Been using this since 2018, it’s the only one I buy. Good hold for thick curly hair and lasts all day. My hair gets wild and this is able to tame it.I usually get best results on semi damp hair.

I have thick, sort of course hair that is between wavy and curly (short sides medium/short length on top). I am looking for something that gives a little shine, but has quite a strong hold. This product doesn't seem to dry up in my hair, even after rubbing it into my hair alot or touching my hair throughout the day - good! However, It gives practically no hold whatsoever, and is uselesss when applied to damp hair. I do use Hairbond Designer and that has served me quite well for what I'm looking for but often dries up in my hair when my hair is slightly longer. Overall this product is deffinately not worth the price, as the previous review says, you can get things that do the same for much cheaper. But, it doesnt seem to contain silicones which is good, and it doesn't dry up (sometimes appears a bit greasy though) , so make the decision. Is it worth the risk for your hair type?

Bought this after doing a lot of research on hair wax, putty, clay etc. I'm a male with short/medium length straight hair which I usually have combed over with a fringe. I did not feel the hold of this product was good, especially when it rains. It drys out in my hair too quick and makes my hair fluffy. Back to using fructis surfers wax
