Literally started working immediately. Just be careful not to let the leaves touch it..
These things show fungus gnats NO mercy. The first picture was taken not even 5 minutes after I popped the little thing in my pot. It caught a fungus gnat a minute. I didn't even realize this plant was so infested! They work VERY well, and very quickly. BUT. they're SUPER sticky, so be real careful not to let the leaves touch them, unless you wanna tear the leaf 🥲 a sacrifice I am willing to make to stop these dang fungus gnats. Also, I saw a lot of comments saying the stickers don't peel off easily, but that hasn't been my experience. They peel off quite easily and in one piece from what I've seen so far. However, the stickers don't quite line up, so the traps stick to themselves. You gotta be careful to make sure you are only holding one, not two stuck together

Cute Little Flowers, Ruthless Little Assassins
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐At first glance, these little yellow flower-shaped sticky traps looked adorable. Like cheerful Post-it notes for my plants. Then I discovered they are absolutely ruthless.I placed a few around my seedlings in my garage grow space and within hours they had become the insect equivalent of a Vegas billboard. Every gnat in the county apparently saw the bright yellow flowers and thought, “Now THAT looks interesting.”It did not end well for them. The traps blend in nicely with the plants, they’re incredibly sticky, and they somehow manage to be both cute and terrifying at the same time. Every morning I found myself inspecting them like a crime scene investigator. My only warning: be careful where you put them. They are so sticky that I nearly became part of the display while watering. One trap grabbed my glove, my sleeve, and most of my dignity. The gnats loved them. The gnats regretted loving them.If your plants have become a gathering place for fungus gnats, these little yellow flowers are about to become the bouncers at the door.Highly recommend.

These work well at keeping gnats under control
I've gone through a lot of fungus gnat traps over the years, and these are some of the best I've used. They're easy to insert into the soil without disturbing my plants, the protective film peels off cleanly, and they stay sticky for a long time. Everything arrived well packaged with no bent or damaged traps, which I really appreciated.I have a lot of houseplants, and this pack is a great price for the number of traps you get. They work really well on their own for catching adult fungus gnats and even fruit flies, but I've found they're especially effective when paired with Mosquito Bits to tackle the larvae at the source. That combination has made a huge difference for my indoor plants. For the Mosquito Bits, I usually steep them in water and then water as usual. If you have a large plant collection or you're dealing with a gnat issue, these would be great to try. I’ve been using them on and off for years.

Pretty good, but room for improvement
These work as intended. It’s a little tricky to get it situated without it sticking to the leaves since it’s super sticky! Within a day, I caught a few and haven’t seen any sense. I also used some hydrogen peroxide diluted with water on top of the soil to kill any eggs. It comes with a ton of sticky inserts! So I shouldn’t have to buy any of these for the rest of my life. HahaMight even be worth sharing with friends.Edit-First of all, it was obviously my first time dealing with fungal gnats. This is not a lifetime supply, this seems to be enough to barely get you through one round of taking care of these stupid bugs.Secondly, it’s a bit annoying to remove what you need to in order to expose the sticker. It’s mainly due to the shape. The butterfly ones, no matter how carefully I lift up on the flap, it ends up ripping and it’s a process to get all the little chunks off. Maybe the focus should be less on the cute design and more on the functionality. It would be much more satisfying to pull that white tab and be done. And lastly, the triangular portion that you stick into the soil is pretty flimsy. It can be difficult to get it in the soil while simultaneously trying to keep the leaves from sticking to the sticky part. Maybe if that was more sturdy, it would be easier.

Sticky insect plant traps
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super sticky and actually works! These traps have worked so well for my indoor plants! They were incredibly easy to insert into the soil, and within a day I could already see fungus gnats and other little flying bugs stuck to them. One thing I wasn’t expecting is just how sticky they are! They will catch anything that touches them, including loose soil, so be careful not to let the sticky part get covered in dirt when placing them in your plants. Once they’re in correctly, they do an amazing job.If you’re dealing with fungus gnats or other tiny flying pests, I would definitely recommend these. They’re simple to use, effective, and have made a noticeable difference for my houseplants.

Slowly removing the fungus gnats
I have fungus gnats and they're proving hard to remove. Purchased these and slowly the population is dying. Whatever attracts the gnats to this is working - the insert is covered in a few days. These are of the larger size and both sides are sticky. They seem to be working well.

YAY! FLIES BEWARE!
Hurray! Woke up this morning to this! (See photos) Only had it out for 12 hours and caught more flies than I ever imagined I had! Did a side-by-side comparison with Aunt Fannie's FlyPunch Fruit Fly Trap (DO NOT BUY! DOES NOT WORK!), and you can clearly see which product works best. Only wish it were easier to remove the paper coating to expose the sticky sides. Well worth every penny spent!

Fantastic. Worked better than expected
Bought these as have a bad gnat problem indoors. Perhaps from an infested bag of soil. Over night the 6 or so traps I placed around the house caught so many the traps were coated
