Pharm Phlash Cards!: Pharmacology Flash Cards Second Edition

My grades in pharmacology were very low and I was on the verge of failing the class. I spent more than half the week just reading the book and compiling the information to make my flashcards and study. It seemed like I only had a day or two to study for the test due to all the prep. I ordered these flash cards right after my midterm. Once I received these I did not read my book or look at the powerpoints previded by the teacher; I just strictly stuck to these flash cards. There were a couple of drugs for each section that were not provided and I had to make my own flash card. I was able to prep in less than one day and spent much more time studying for my test. I just completed the pharm class and these flash cards can take all the credit. After I used these my grades dramatically improved and I was able to raise my grade. They worked for the way my teacher taught and I am in an accelerated bachlor program. I would highly recommend getting these and even highlighting key nursing intervention info.

Best pharmacology flash cards I have ever seen! If you are a Nursing or Dental Hygiene student, you need to own this set, it's a life saver! It's so easy to study with them. My grades improved after I started using them, they're truly helpful and very well designed. Very good information and organization.

These cards are presented well, organized nicely, and color coded. These are great for a quick reference but they lack the detail needed for my pathopharm class. If I want to know very basic information they’re fine but I almost always have to do more research. Another downfall is that they group several drugs from the same class on to a single card....there is no differentiation between these drugs, their adverse affects, nursing considerations, etc.I suppose these are better for students trying to learn a large amount of drugs for the NCLEX opposed to students that need to know specifics for pharm.

I highly recommend these cards for nursing students. In my school, we were given a list of drugs to study. That's all. As a nursing student who is already overwhelmed with just about everything, this task was brutal. I never felt like I was studying the important things regarding nursing. These cards reduce that stress and tell you exactly what you need to know about them in terms of nursing. After I graduated, I held on to mine, as they are such a great resource.I went from barely passing my drug tests and cramming to actually understanding the content, passing the quizzes, and being able to actually retain the information.

These cards are awesome. They came recommended from an RN friend who also used them during her studies throughout nursing school.PRO: They're well organized. Great visuals. I'll defiantly be keeping mine for a lifetime as a student and nurse to keep everything fresh. Recommended to anyone looking for help studying pharmacology.CON: Nothing big, but just FYI not every single drug is going to be found... included in the box are over 250+ cards (mostly the most used and well known) organized by its target system. Drugs are consistently changing and new drugs are being released every, year so just a heads up.Overall, the only thing I wish this company would make next are cards that focused on the drug classes alone. Learning those first helps group the drugs and memorizing them a lot easier. Overall, very nice and impressed. Love them. Glad I choose to finally get them!

There was missing a lot of information that I needed for the NCLEX and for some of my classes, such as normal therapeutic levels for certain medications. I had to write with a permanent marker on some of the cards. I really liked the pictures though and how it is separated into different types. They're cute, but good merely for testing the basics.

I bought these thinking the little pictures would be helpful. They were not. A lot of very important information isn't included on the card so I found them useless to study with. The information on the card was so basic that I didn't find it helpful. I ended up giving them to a friend on the offchance she might find something useful about them.I saw a lot of really good reviews about these cards. I bought them thinking they would be really good. I looked at them a few times and tried pulling out some for certain chapters we were studying, but to me they were of no help at all. I'd not recommend them.

Cards arrived with a few flaws, seller was quick to fix the issues. Would definitely buy from this place again!
