ASICS Men's Gel-Cumulus 23 All Winter Long Running Shoes

I have used ASICS gel-cumulus to run for years. I happened across the AWL this winter and decided to give them a try. I live on the PNW where rain, puddles, and mud rule all winter long. These shoes are very water resistant (although I suspect they would wet out if you just stood in a stream/puddle), the shock cord laces hold great, and they feel just like regular gel-cumulus. I have used these for light trail running, although beware that these do not have trail running tread, and if you plan on doing a lot of trail running you should probably invest in an actual trail shoe. Despite that, they have been working well for my purposes and serve as a great shoe when the weather is extra rainy/snowy/muddy this winter. So glad to have them!

Bought my first pair of ASICS in 1980. Pretty much have a worn nothing else since then. Pair I just bought was size 10. The length is good but they’re quite narrow. I feel that the laces need to be a longer because you can’t really undo them with this type of lacing system and it is a tight fit to get the foot into the shoe. Wanted to try this model for the Goretex; we’ll see how well they work.

Wanted a more comfy shoe for a wetter climate. Top notch comfort…tie-system works well…nice cushion on hard and irregular surfaces…I love the color…these 12’s fit my 12 foot perfectly!

These are made for winter temps. They seem to have a felt coating on the inside. It was 20F today in ATL and my feet didn't get cold. I'd really give a 4.5 due to the fact that you can slightly feel the structural build from the sole - but not an issue at all. Fits fine. I thought the size was slightly smaller that my usual 10.5 sized Asics but they stretched out normally. I ordered another pair since the value/quality matched.

These are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn. The materials are perfect for running in rainy, cold weather in the winter. Also love the shoelace design. I loved them so much we ordered a pair for my wife as well. She loves them for outdoor running/walking, as well as for standing at work for long periods of time.

Keeps my feet both dry and warm in cold weather. Comfortable for walking. Has convenient "no tie" laces that are simple and quick to use vs. tying.
