Great for braking on my phatmoto

Super quick to set up. Good for a large 20-20.5 hard tail.

The brakes work well (one test ride so far, will update review if this changes), but I have two complaints:1: Rear brake cable is too short. I cannot route the cable along the proper cable path for my bike (size Large frame), and had to velcro it along the top tube of my bike instead.2: One of the brake calipers arrived covered in what I can only assume was brake fluid. This is a serious concern, as brake fluid can damage brake pads and lead to poor performance or failure. I cleaned the pads and caliper well, and haven't had any issues so far. Will update if that changes.Overall, I am very impressed with the performance for the price. If the brake cable was slightly longer, and the caliper had not come soaked in oil, I would definitely recommend these brakes.

I installed this on my 20 x4 inch super73 knock off ebike and the hoses barely made it to the mounting points from the handlebars.I ended up purchasing shorter handlebars to make up for the short hoses, but now the way I sit on my bike is a little wonky. It still does it's job stopping. Really well I might add.But just a heads up, I would look into brand where you can choose the length of your hose and install it properly. This pre-bled option is a little lacking in quality.

They worked great and they fit just fine, they look good aswell and the stopping power isn’t to soft mot hard good for wheelies and just riding around

Put these on my wife's bike after her older Magura's wore out. I went to ride her bike and just about went over the handlebars with how well these stop.I have sram guide r's on my bike, and they definitely allow for more fine tuned modulation - but these also allow you to control your braking very well.I would not hesitate to get these again. I'll likely upgrade the kids bikes from cable disk to these hydraulic ones.

to the person that said they're too short, that's your fault for not measuring your current setup or knowing what you need.fitment issue, they rub the rotor on the inside of the caliper. if you look closely where they sandwhich together you'll notice that they do not line up well. i put a small washer between the caliper and the mounting bracket. i'll see if i can disassemble and straighten it out, or if material needs to be removed to make clearance.they also need to be bled, stopping power was worse than my mechanical brakes that were on my schwinn axum from factory.

10/22/2023 - 12 month follow up.Front brake handle assembly is leaking. Seems to be a common problem. Design flaw in the o ring channel.Out of the package, brakes worked well with no adjustment necessary. Power of a 4 piston brake. Pad retention screw was nice. Not cotter pin requiredAssembly is made using a left and right side. My set had a mismatch of the casting on the inside. This caused the rotor to rub.I ground the inside edge down and repainted black. This fixed the rubbing.Braking quality is very good. 4 stars on braking.2 stars on assembly. Shimano is nicer finished, but 3x cost.These are great for a budget build.
