Even Princesses Go to the Potty: A Potty Training Life-the-Flap Story

A friend recommended this book to me. I am so glad that I bought it. We were really struggling with potty training. This book really helped. We read it every night before bed to try to reinforce the fact that everyone really does use the potty. The book is very redundant, that is what kids need to reinforce an idea. Each page has a different "career" character (doll doctor, baker, princess, horse trainer, captain) and all are female, but the character is missing. When asked where there character is children turn a small flap (maybe 1/3 of the page) only to find the character is in the potty. Like is said redundant, but effective. It was cute the first time, but after the 50th time it got a little old. The pages are strong, but can still be ripped by an over zealous toddler. Mine got supper excited to turn a page and tore it a little bit. A little tape and we back in service.

This book helped my daughter with her potty training. She could only read it in the potty and so for the first two weeks we read it every day multiple times a day when going potty. The last page is a little confusing for the little kids so i reworded it on my own. Other than that it’s great.

Cute book! I have the boy version as well and my daughter loves to have these read to her while she waits. (18mo) i do wish the book had other rolls for women than it does. But it is still cute.

I hate giving this a 4 because I really like the book. I think it represents a lot of careers and different cultures. It is absolutely adorable. My issue is with the use of the word "Emergency" when a little girl's doll is hurt.... It took my daughter ONE time to catch on and start saying, "Mommy! I have an emergency!!"... Now I am looking for a book to explain big problems and little problems. I am also tempted to put a sticker over it and put "Oh no!". Anyway, I am really pleased with the book otherwise. Great price too!

This is a fabulous book to help your kids during potty training! My 3 year old daughter refused to potty in the big girl potty until we bought this book and read it. Now she’s fully potty trained and actually reads it to her dolls.

My 4.5 yr old has been struggling with accidents and out of desperation I decided to look for some good non-baby/starter potty books. This wasn't one of them and I'm very pleased! Highly recommend. My daughter especially loved the princess theme.

Great story! Our toddler loved it while she was potty training. She used to sleep with the book under her pillow. It's a very cute story.

My daughter LOVES this book! It resides in our bathroom and she wants to read it almost every time she's in there.....definitely recommend!

My daughter loves this book. I previously bought the other book to this series, "Even Firefighters Go To The Potty", and this one is a great continuation geared towards girls. It's an easy read with durable lift the flap bathroom doors. The pages of this book can be wiped down, which I like since it is mostly read while sitting on the toilet. It's a great addition to the collection of potty books in the bathroom.

Ce petit livre prévu pour les 18 mois à 3 ans est parfait pour des petites filles en apprentissage de la propreté.On admire la scène sur chaque page et cherche la personne qui manque, qui se trouve à chaque fois "au toilettes", car même les princesses, dentistes, boulangères, etc. vont aux toilettes.Ma fille adore découvrir les WC uniques sur chaque scène et cela se traduit au fur et à mesure dans la vie réelle quand on lui rappelle que même "les petites filles" vont au toilette.En anglais, mais facilement traduisible, dessins tendres et situations tout à fait compréhensibles au groupe d'âge visé.
